5.0 out of 5 stars The light meets my needs.
I bought 3 of these lights and use them for house plant in a dark room.

Each plant is 2 sq feet and one bulb place in the middle of the leafy plant seems to be enough light to sustain and even grow the plant.

I have a 2 ft kumkwat tree that I grow in my balcony. Since I moved to a new place, I realized that my plant gets only a couple of hours sunlight and not even to the entire plant.

So, I looked around for a supplementary light source and decide to try this one. It's cheap comparing to other led grow lights and still consuming less energy. After a few weeks of 6AM to 8PM lighting from one direction, I do not see any slight sign of it working.

So, I got a growspot 15W lights from Amazon. Within a week, I see difference. Leaves are leaning towards and new leaves are coming out.

On internet, somebody warned that 0.1W LED lights don't work and I ignored that, since I thought 10 of 0.1W LED lights should be the same as one 1W LED.

You're now warned and it's up to you.

1.0 out of 5 stars After one year, most of the LEDs no longer illuminate, May 25, 2009

I purchased this about a year ago, and it worked fine (the plants appeared to respond to it). It's been in daily use. However, about a month ago, I noticed that a section of the LEDs were no longer lighting up. Now, a month later, only about a quarter of the LEDs light up. I would really expect an LED-based bulb to last a good deal longer than a year.
