I chose to purchase this product due to the previous two reviews that were left. Both of these reviews are very accurate. This product is fantastic value for money and would rival the products on the market that are upwards of $300. The scan feature on this rangefinder is perfect for scanning all different objects in a near vicinity. For example on the golf course you can scan how far it is to the start of the bunker and then how far it is to carry without having to adjust the unit. Of course you can also scan the distance to the pin. The unit does not shake and objects are easy to get yardage for, a complaint of a lot of the cheaper models is that they just wont do this.
Delivery on this item is super quick, i purchased on a Thursday and it arrived in the mail on the Monday. I could not be happier with this product, it is that good it nearly hits the ball for you.
My only problem, if i can call it a problem was that the instructions are written in broken English which actually makes for some good laughs.

I purchased this item from Jim at Par70 after researching rangfinders from all the name brands for 2x the price and came upon this unit. I wanted a unit specipc for golf. This unit has everything you need. It is acurate and fast. You must buy the unit with scanning mode. This allows you look at the green and just by panning left to right and up and down you can see the yardage from the tree on the left, the top of the sand trap, the back of the green and of course the pin. You do this and get those yardages in less then 5 seconds. I am a 6 handicap and this will bring me to a 4. This is a must if you are serious about your game. Quick, easy and accurate.

I tried a much cheaper range finder and returned it because it was...cheap! Still, I wanted a range finder to use on the golf course that was simple, easy to use, and accurate. This one fills all of my needs at a far lower price than the big names. It does a great job and the fact that it works with just a pair of AA batteries makes it much less expensive to maintain. I love this tool.

This rangefinder is a good for the price and capable of golf course and long range visual yards and meters. The battery was not included but it only requires 2 AAA batteries and its lightweight, palm size and easy to use. I was skeptical at first to buy because of previous use of more expensive rangefinders but this one works perfectly fine. It comes with a padded case, linen cloth to clean and hold the rangefinder. The thread for wrist hold is tricky to slide through the hole. I am happy with my purchase because I have been looking for a rangefinder for the whole fall and I finally was able to pick one I like. The shipping is great as well I ordered it Monday and received it Friday morning of that week. Compared to a bushnell or callaway rangefinder it does the same thing to laser yardage and the main difference is the weight of the product. I would recommend this product for golf, hunting, bird-watcing or distant reading.

Our Bushnell Pinseeker rangefinder was left behind in a golf cart, and I was looking for a replacement. I read reviews for many products. I was impressed by 2 Amazon reviews by people who said they had replaced lost Bushnell products so I ordered a Par70 JCS602-1000. I am very happy with the product and the service provided by the vendor.
This instrument is smaller and easier to handle than the Bushnell. I can get a reading holding the unit in one hand. The Bushnell always required two hands and often additional bracing of arm against a cart or something solid to get a steady reading. It uses 2 AAA batteries compared to the more expensive 9 volt battery required by the Bushnell. I have had my unit for over a month and have not had to replace the batteries.
Most of my friends use GPS units, but they depend on me for an exact distance to the flag on par 3 holes. I am a course rater for my local golf association so I also use the unit for measuring the disatnces to hazards and OB as well as green dimensions. This unit is a great value.

I am a 2 handicap golfer and recently had my bushnell 1600 show up missing from my bag. I figured I would give this one a try since the specs. are pretty close and the cost was about half of my last one(the missing bushnell). I was very pleasantly surprised how well this unit works. I have no problem finding the flag at 275+ yards. It has a very nice scan mode that makes it even easier to get the distance, not just to the flag but also to other objects like sand traps, water and trees. It's simple to operate and easy to use with just one hand. I am very happy the overall performance and you can't beat the price.

The JCS602-1000 Laser Range Finder offered by Par70 is a clear winner on every count. The value is unbeatable, particularly for a range finder that does not require laser reflectors on targets and can scan continuously. I might add that Jim went to the distance to assure that this customer was completely satisfied with the unit. Five stars.

I was looking for something to help my club selection. My price was around $200. Found out the GPS devices has a yearly fee, which I didn't want. When I saw the reviews on the PAR70 JCS602-1000 Laser Range Finder for Golf my problem was solved. It made since to me, No Yearly Fees, No Downloading for Course, No extra Fees. I order it around Wednesday or Thursday and was leaving to Myrtle Beach on a Sunday for a week. I push the confirm button, happy that I got something in my price range and with quality, But didn't get the two-day or overnight S & H. In the reviews I saw the name Jim, and I email Jim about my problem, he email me back and said I will try and get it to you before you leave. JIM's IS A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. The PAR70 1000 works Great. I could see the distance to the bunker, hazards, trees, and the ground ( Front - The Hole - Back ) of the green. EVERYTHING. I don't need the distance to the Flag, I need the distance to the Hole. The First & Last device I need for Distance. What I need to do now is to go the Range to get the right distance on my club and of course hit them STRAIGHT.

Take Care of #1 1st, then Others

I've been using for 8 months now, and when using side by side with my friends' expensive name brand lasers, it performs as well as them. This is despite one episode where a sharp turn sent the unit tumbling down the cart path. And another time I forgot it on the roof of the cart, and it bounded off the cart path. After that hard fall, it would not lock on to a target, but pulling the batteries out and restarting it was back to normal.
