5.0 out of 5 stars Blythe & Raider!
OMG! This is the best BEST book out there. It has everything passion, pirates, humor, and most of all love. It is a very sweet story that you won't be able to forget. Plus the ending was so sweet I cried!

1.0 out of 5 stars I CRINGED!
I bought this book based on the other reviews and because I enjoyed the "The Wife Test". However, I was stunned that anyone thought this was a good read. By page 78 I was cringing so much I had to toss it aside. I then reverted to skimming it to see what all the fuss was about, and I still had to abandon it! The first meeting of the hero and heroine...

5.0 out of 5 stars Still one of my favorites!, July 4, 2002

Julia "Julia" (Utrecht, Netherlands) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Passion's Ransom (Paperback)
I have read this book lots of times. It is still my favorite after all these years. I saw there is a new version coming out in August, so here is my review. The book is very romantic, funny, fast-paced. Blythe runs her father's mercantile and it is not easy. Until one day she is abducted by the partner of Raider Prescott - a pirate. Raider is a wonderful hero and Blythe a lovely heroine with lots of guts! The adventure begins and ofcourse there are sparks between the pirate and his "woolwitch". I really loved this story and would recommend it to anyone!

The first meeting of the hero and heroine (where he kisses her the 1st time) is just so stupid and badly executed. On top of it all, the story is boring. Overly written and repeatively descriptive - the writer clearly lacked a good editor. Add to it a poorly developed hero, a muddled point of view, dialog without wit, weakly motivated character behavior, and tired plots and situations. I found reading this unbearable.

5.0 out of 5 stars another hit, April 11, 2000
This review is from: Passion's Ransom (Paperback)
I have read most of Krahns books and have enjoyed them allPassions Ranson is no exception. When Raider Prescott tries to sellhis cargo to Blythe Woolrich and she refuses his friend and partnertalks him into kidnapping Blythe and holding her for ransom. Little does he know what he is getting into... This is a great read and I don't want to give away too much of the ending. All i have to say is taht if you haven't read it yet you should go out and find it. END

4.0 out of 5 stars actually made me laugh out loud...., September 18, 2007
By

This book was pretty good. I found the characters very likable and the story moved very fast. There where several parts that actually made me laugh out loud.
The story is about Blythe Woolrich who is running her fathers mercantile business and seems to be suffering from an awful lot of bad luck. So much so that she's had to sell off most of the furnishings in her house to try and stay afloat. Now Captain Raider Prescott and his men have kidnapped her for Ransoming. How much bad luck can one person suffer from?

The reason I only gave this book 4 stars apposed to 5 is because I found the book had way too many typos.

Don't waste your time and your money with that book.
It's unbelievable that someone found that book a very good story. It is predictable, boring, repetitive, with awful character and a poor plot. The hero is an insensible thief !!!! and the heroine is a completely fool !!!!

Pass on this one !!!!!!!!!!
