Best shoes every, January 9, 2011
These shoes are fantastic! The most comfortable and reliable shoes that I have ever owned. I can stand hunched over a table for 12+ hours wearing these shoe with little to no discomfort; which I have to do an a regular enough basis. They are also great for walking and just lounging around. They are the closet a shoe can get to feeling like a slipper without actually being a slipper.
And a note to the other reviewer. Two stars? Really? Any shoe that can last a year seems like a pretty darn reliable shoe to me. And second of all just go to mtnsoles.com to have them resoled. These shoes were designed to be easily resoled.

comfortable, convenient--but the sole wore out, August 5, 2010
I bought a pair of honedews a couple of years ago and have worn them constantly. So I shouldn't be surprised that (as I was preparing to pack them up for a trip, an easy thing to do with these light unobtrusive shoes)I found a hole in the -- as it turns out -- thin rubber outer sole of one of the shoes. This outer sole turns out to be a thin layer over something thicker and of another material. So: comfort, convenience of the slip on while the elastic laces actually keep it in place, light weight--but a lower mark for durability.
