PBA Can someone tell me whether this item is PBA free? It is plastic right? Thank you.

You mean BPA. I called OXO and they said it is a newer type of plastic called Tritan, made by Eastman. While supposedly BPA free and safe, there is some question about that if you do a web search on Tritan (I wonder if any plastic is safe these days).

Yes it is. The bottom of the cup states BPA fee.
