Finally a product that kills ground ivy,

I searched the internet and found an article from one of the midwest Universities that compared the effectiveness of various weed killers for the control of ground ivy. Based on the research results, I mixed 1 gallon of Trimec Classic with 1 pound of Drive then added 1 pint of mentholated seed oil. I applied it with a hose sprayer at the rate of 8 tablespoons per gallon of water and every single weed including the ground ivy was gone. Fantastic product to wipe out tough weeds of all types. I tried all of the Ortho and Scotts products on the market, includng the ones with the picture of ground ivy on the label with no effect. With my Trimec Classic, Drive and seed oil cocktail, my lawn went from one of the worst in the neighborhood to one of the best in just one year. Really effective for controlling all types of weeds. I Highly recommend this product.
