I love this set of videos! I am admittedly a gamer and with that in mind I know I am a bit on the lazy/sluggish side at times. But these videos are so relaxing and soothing that even I can get into them. I do suffer from back issues due to large bust and the back pain video in the set is awesome and does work! I get done that tape and am like jello it is great. Peggy has a calming voice and she is not some skinny pole woman doing impossible poses that leave us beginners spending the rest of the day scraping our chins off the ground. The poses have modifications for those that are even lest elastic than myself so it really is easy and effective in the same box!

If you have back issues and pain this portion of the package will certainly help you....I have yet to try the arthritis one and actually hope I have a few more years before I truly need that one. But all videos by Peggy that I have watched while trying to become a human pretzel are awesome and relaxing. I would recommend this for anyone that wants to begin the yoga process but needs to take it slow.

Excellent! Fabulous DVD's. Wish I lived near where her classes were taught. Nut this is the next best thing! A must buy if you have arthritis, fibromyalgia, breathing problems.

When I went looking for a beginning yoga DVD to help me gain flexibility, I borrowed this from my public library. Peggy gives very clear descriptions of her movements and alternatives for those of us who are older, less limber and have issues with knees, backs, etc. I found her manner to be very soothing and relaxing. And even though the movements do not seem that challenging at first, I did feel the effects over the next few days. My body felt like it was getting a good stretch so I decided to purchase this set.

This is probably the best yoga dvd I own at this time in my life. I have arthritis in my back and knees and this has been very helpful in making me more mobile. It is slow and purposeful. It shows the moves in different variations, according to your skill level. I especially like the behind the scenes stories, they are motivational.

I saw Peggy Cappy on PBS and decided to buy these tapes. Her voice is very soothing and the instructions are easy to follow. However, some of the poses are very difficult for me as I am 65 and have never really exercised before. My bad!

After using the cd for backs, I noticed that I felt better in just one day. Not "cured," of course, but noticeably better. The sunshine salutations are also very good, especially the ones using a chair for someone like me . . . these are on the tape for poses to help the heart. I have not looked at the cd for arthritis yet.

I notice it is best to watch each cd all the way through first (the parts on the poses) because sometimes when attempting to do the pose, it is difficult to see the tv screen. She does go a little fast at times, but then I go back and review the poses and do them slowly, and that helps. I would definitely recommend any of Peggy Cappy's Yoga cd's!

The DVD is an excellent resource for beginners of all types. Although the entire sessions is almost two hours long, it is broken up into easy to follow segments, so you can do a portion of the video whenever you have time. It has been very useful in increasing my flexibility, particularly in my hands as I type so much. Well worth the money.

This is the only truly beginner yoga DVD's I've ever seen. From her lengthy explanations I could understand how to really do each movement without hurting myself or thinking I was inadequate because I am not a contortionist. The chair sections allow me to get the correct "feel" of the movement so that when I do it without the chair I know if I am doing it correctly or not! I have been to too many yoga classes where I left confused, depressed, inadequate and injured! Although there is a lot of talking, it has a purpose. These DVDs can be challenging, as the slow pace, in my opinion, is actually HARDER to do if you are putting yourself into it. I'm also impressed that Ms. Cappy uses regular people and does not use herself to show off like so many other yoga DVD personalities, or turn it into some kind of frantic narcissistic competitive power aerobic americanized show. Since I purchased these DVDs I have been inspired to practice every day! I have over 25 yoga DVDs, and none of them has ever had that effect! I wish there were more like these!
On a different note, I usually have constant back pain, but after doing the back care DVD I was pain free for a few hours! That alone was worth it. I think once you are completely familiar with the movements, you can speed up your flow to whatever suits you.

I bought the triology...do some part of the tapes every day. I'm 70 and have broken my back so finding exercise for me is difficult. I haven't found any position that I can't do with some modification! Have been waiting for a long time for these videos to be released.
