Quick message: To get the full enjoyment out of Guild Wars, buy all campaigns plus the expansion, and link them to one account. This gives you access to ALL content (provided you fulfill the unlock requirements). If you plan to do a lot of PvP playing, this is not just a recommendation - this is necessary to remain competitive.
GW is a MMORPG, but unlike WoW, there is no monthly fee. In addition, you don't have to worry about people bothering you while you're out exploring or questing. Whenever you go exploring, you get your own private instance, which is based on where your character is in the story. For example, if you just started the game, everything looks fine and peaceful. Later on, the same area would become a wasteland. You can form parties with other people in towns and outposts. Because of this, GW isn't truly a "massive" online game, since you only see the masses of people in non-combat areas, where you cannot draw your weapon or attack. If you need guidance, be sure to join a legitimate guild. There are many guilds constantly recruiting in GW, but many of them don't actually live up to what they claim, and some may just try to use you for their personal gain. Experiment with a few of the guilds to see where you best fit. With many continents to visit, six (or more with new campaigns) professions to choose from, and daily missions to accept, Guild Wars will provide you with countless days of objectives to accomplish. And you can do it all without paying a monthly fee!

the Game is new unopened and includes both prophecies and eye of the north. "THERE IS ONLY ONE KEY" thats right one key for both games. personally i just got it for eye of the north and just added it to my account. it dose not allow you to split them in any way just to warn you. but i got it to add eye to my prophecies so i wasn't disappointed one bit. now on to the game.
if you enjoy games like wow but don't like the monthly fee and the level 80 characters killing you repeatedly than this may be the game for you. you really cant go wrong with this game when i got it back when it was originally $50 a game and here you can get it for dirt cheap "i spent $12" and you get the expansion eye of the north too. this is a great find in my book

Alright, I've played quite a few MMORPGs in my day, some with monthly subscriptions and others being free and I have to say, Guild Wars is better than anything I've played so far.
I started playing on recommendation from my boyfriend and at first I was really skeptic but after creating my first character and diving into the Prophecies campaign, I was not disappointed. I loved the feeling of the different towns and how you could choose to just go into the field with just yourself and a few NPCs or feeling froggy enough you could team up with other people. I also loved how you could kneel (literally) at the statues of the game's Gods and the avatars of the gods would come down and bestow upon you blessings and enchantments for a few gold coins. Although the level cap is only 20, that's only the beginning of the game. After level 20, you still obtain experience points to get more skill points for your character. Not to mention at that point, you can then start training to get your Elite Skills and Elite armor sets. And I have to say I'm not really into PvP, but I got more into it the more I played Guild Wars. You have the option in Guild Wars to PvP with NPCs or to go up against other players and vice versa. You also get PvP specific NPC characters and Heroes to add to your party. I would definately recommend Guild Wars to other RPGs lovers out there.
