4.0 out of 5 stars Great freshman project from a promising crew
Great release from these kats. They both have the smoothness and lyrical flexibility to bless the tracks. The beats are pure hip-hop with a tweak of sophistication. They have a "cool-out" type sound that will make you bob your head. Great positive lyrics on this their first thesis on life. Their grooves make you think and pay attention to what they are...

Great release from these kats. They both have the smoothness and lyrical flexibility to bless the tracks. The beats are pure hip-hop with a tweak of sophistication. They have a "cool-out" type sound that will make you bob your head. Great positive lyrics on this their first thesis on life. Their grooves make you think and pay attention to what they are trying to communicate. If you like clean unadulterated hip-hop, then a Phonetic Composition is the topic of the day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great NY-style Christian hip-hop group, October 3, 2002

This CD is pretty cool if you enjoy NY style hip-hop. Plus this
group is Christian. The beats used in the CD are really cool. It beats that dirty south rap that people choose to listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars no-nameMC- a dude with Christ and a gift for hip-hop, October 4, 2001

Alright, we seem to have some nomadic reviews that have been a little too sinical. True, don't jock fake mc's jus cuz they're Christians. Originality is in order along with skill, it is a GIFT. PC is not new, you all just ain't been in the underground long enough to recognize these two. Skills they don't lack. About Fred B: He helped pave the way for mc's like us, don't get it twisted. Nomadic, keep it real, emcees ain't dope cause they're Christians. Show due respect to reals. PC, keep on keepin' on.

What's up?

I am here to set the record straight about Phonetic Composition and the album PC Tools. This album is one of the most inovative albums I have ever heard, Christian or secular, period! Anyone who doesn't realize that doesn't know the meaning of true hip-hop. My man Billy Blanco has got more skill in his little finger then most MC's got all together. If you love truely creative hip-hop then this is the album to buy. If you like all the main-stream crap that is getting air play right now, then don't buy this album! If you want real hip-hop let your ears tell you what you like to hear not some dude with a name like Nomadic The Stupid, oops I mean Rugged! (ya right!)

Come with the real, or don't come at all! Congrats to Phonetic Composition for all of your hard work, thanks for making real hip-hop for those of us who really know and apreciate what hip-hop is suppose to sound like!

5.0 out of 5 stars Believe the Phatness, April 7, 2000
By A Customer

This is one ill CD. It kept my head bobbin' the whole time! It's just one big mixture of phat hip-hop, something to chill to, something to groove to. These two new artists are very promising. I must say I'm really loving the flows of Billy Blanco. His voice is oh so sexy! This is definitely one for the CD player

2.0 out of 5 stars are you kidding me?, October 27, 2001
By
This review is from: PC Tools (Audio CD)
Look, my man nomadic had the idea. Im an actual Gospel emcee, and more importantly a true Jesus freak with a yearning for growth in the word - and this album lacks much lyrical depth and even more spiritual content.... I was under the assumption that Gospel music was supposed to send out the good word of truth, this album has very little Biblical and spiritual reference. these artists focus too much on themselves and not enough on preaching the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Im not in the business of knocking fellow brothers in Christ - but i am in the hip hop business and i want listeners to realize that if they are satisfied with the message they have recieved from this album, then they might want to examine their thirst for edification.
