I wasn't sure if this cable would be able to connect my DVI laptop to my Sanyo 32" LCD TV. After looking around on the web I couldn't find any definitive information about whether just the cable would work or if a converter box was necessary. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it did work, and the HDMI to DVI cable was all that I needed. This one was very economically priced and seems to be able to withstand use. Have to figure out a way to add the sound now, maybe run the output from the laptop's headphone jack.
