This DVI-HDMI cable is a quality product and a GREAT VALUE. I use it to run my Dell notebook video output to my HDTV. The video quality is excellent - as crisp as I had hoped it would be. The 15 feet length makes for maximum flexibility for component setup and positioning.

I went to a large retail electronics chain (whose name rhymes with Best Guy) and they wanted sixty dollars for a 6' version of this cable, and it wasn't even Monster brand cable. Sixty bucks?!

Note: When used to display computer output on television, the audio signal has to be accounted for separately. In other words, you'll still need to run an audio line from your computer to your sound device. The HDMI connection doesn't automatically route your computer audio output to your television.

This cable is a fantastic value and works great. I run my HDMI cables from a PC, past several surge protectors and a paper shredder without any interference problems. Forget that overpriced Monster junk, get this instead!

This is a very good buy. A lot of length (15 ft) for a very cheap price. This product also works without any issues; I use it with my X-Box 360 and the resolution is so much better on my monitor than on my regular TV. No use in purchasing any of the other expensive types when this will do the same work.

I have used this cable during 2 years already, and it has worked great. it still works actually.

I use it to connect my PC to a Plasma TV, it holds resolutions of 720p and 1080p with no problem.

Not much to say other than it works. The picture looks fine and it's a nice long cord. Please note though that its not the one in the picture.

For $10 this is definitely a steal...

The really really long cable is identical in quality to the ones bought in stores, for literally a quarter the price.

A word to the wise, save your money and buy all of your cables/cords from amazon. You will save hundreds of dollars if you buy cables from amazon and not radio shack or bestbuy(I know because I have!!!)

Works well.
My only problem was that I had to pay double the shipping / handling on cables when I bought two of the same item. Two in a package don't cost any more to mail that one.

MONITOR MUST BE HDCP COMPATIBLE!

If it is not then it will not provide results.

Mine came in blue. Not a big deal though.

EDIT: I got the cable working now thanks to
my other handy monitor. It is HDCP compatible. If you don't know if yours is then logon to their support website and then chat with them and ask if it is either HD or HDCP compatible..Some monitors do not give the screen res. for 1080i/P. Really stinks but my monitor gives out a pristine 720P!

Okay, there's nothing in the product description that mentions its incompatibility with macbooks. The pin configuration on the DVI male end does not match the port on the macbook, and was not clarified in the description. And since I'm not a tech head I purchased it assuming it would work much like the Belkin HDMI-DVI that I got at the Apple store. Considering that cable compatibility is always an issue this needs to be addressed by Amazon.
