There aren't many Zune accessories out on the market currently, but I thought to give this one a try because I was looking for something that would protect my Zune yet still let me be able to view the laser-etching on the reverse side, so I bought the clear plastic one.

So, let's start with the good things. The plastic does feel good, and only mildly inhibits the touch sensitivity of the Zune Pad. Also, the adhesive plastic used to protect the screen is very clear, so it still looks just as great.

And now the reason for why this is only a two-star review. The plastic is very loose around the top of the Zune. I tried using the arm-strap and going for a light jog and the Zune nearly popped out of the sleeve. Also, the arm-strap is very very tight. This might not be an issue for some/most people, but I'm a bigger guy, and even with the arm-strap at the largest possible setting, it still felt very uncomfortable. But back to the plastic sleeve. It also doesn't do a satisfactory job of exposing the headphone jack. All in all, it's just not a very good cover.

Also, the reason I tried the clear model was so that I could see my design on back. I have to admit, it's possible to determine that there is a design on the back, but not well enough to have warranted this purchase. If that's your reason for choosing this product, you will be disappointed. At the same time, however, this is probably one, if not the only, third party accessory that lets you view the backing.

Love the product. I am a person with all thumbs and can never hold any thing in my hand. this product saved me from buying my zune over again.

This skin fits really well and is a great value. I dropped my Zune (which I do not recommend!) and it literally bounced! No damage whatsoever. I love these skins.

The gel sleeve is easy to put on and looks nice, though I didn't give it a 5 star rating because it was hard to figure out how to put screen shield on properly and I eventually took it off and ordered another one without the glue.

The case fits snug and has a great feel to it. However, the armband is worthless if you weigh over 100 pounds. The company needs to provide a longer strap. Most runners will likely be carrying it.

I was happy with the product, but discovered that the armband was too small. I notified the company and they were quick to respond. They sent me out a new one which worked out great! I am very pleased with the product and the company.

I bought my Zune case with armband before reading the other review, so I was worried before I got my case. However, I have had none of the problems mentioned. My Zune fits snugly inside the case. The silicon is a bit flimsier than an iPod nano case with armband that I have, but after you put the Zune inside, I am not worried that it will slip out as the other reviewer mentioned. I have jogged with it many times now and I don't expect any problems in the future.

Also, I have not had any problems with the headphone jack accessibility. You have to push the headphone plug in firmly, but I had to do that with my iPod nano as well when it was in its case. I have never had it disconnect on its own.

The shipping costs from PC Microstore were high (almost as much as the case itself), but because I couldn't find any other options, I was willing to pay it. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

The Zune player has more features than its competitors. The sound is incredible! The Zune Pass allowes for unlimited downloads each month and the ability to mark songs for purchase you hear on the radio. No Ipods for our family anymore!!

The bad:
Screen protector is terrible. It's a little bit too small for the screen. Also it does not come with any type of instruction, which is too bad because generally you only have one good shot at installing a screen protector. I installed a similar one on my Nintendo DS and also bungled the job but was able to fix it. Not the case here, the adhesive doesn't seem to be of the best quality. The shipping on this product also seems a bit steep.

The good:
The silicon protector does a nice job of protecting my Zune when it's in my pocket, my car, or at the gym. A NOTE TO BIGGER GUYS - I've got some guns and it seems to fit me fine. Maybe I'm cutting off circulation while doing curls but arm hasn't fallen off yet so I'm content. If it does I'll let you know.

Overall impressions: Decent product as long as you think of the screen protector as an added bonus and don't mind the shipping price.

The product definitely protects the Zune. The arm-band works great for my wife but is too small for the average sized man's arm. The rubber case is difficult to put on/off so I purchased a neoprene case with a larger arm-band.
