Nice!, July 1, 2007
I bought this charger for my Zen MicroPhoto and so far it's been working very well. I read on another website that any charger that outputs more than 5 volts can end up frying some MP3 players, so this product was just right. Before, I decided I wouldn't be able to travel with my Zen because I obviously couldn't take my desktop with me to recharge it by USB, so this thing is perfect. It's well worth the little money I shelled out for it and it's light-weight, but it isn't brand-name and looks sort of cheap. Overall a sound buy though, and it gets the job done.

Fried My Zen V Plus, June 18, 2008
This charger seemed to be working until I started smelling burning plastic--My player! Now the player will boot and play music, but the computer no longer recognizes the player. I have contacted the seller and they will look into it, but I no longer have my valued Zen V Plus as a working unit. My recommendation is not to use non-Creative chargers. This is the second time I've had this trouble (the first charger came dead on arrival and fortunately didn't fry the player the way this one did). Unfortunately, the charger that Creative sells is almost half the price of the player (w/o shipping). Why can't these companies be up front about what the total cost of their players and reasonable accessories will run?

Zen Stone Charger, January 27, 2008
It works quite fast. It charges the stone more quickly than connecting to the computer, and is much less trouble.
