I'm not gentle on my gear; and I tend to drop my kits into water or other less-than-savory liquids. So eventually I figured that if I was going to carry an US Disaster Relief nurse-approved FAK with me at all times, I probably ought to get one that would survive my tendency to smash it into things.
This works perfectly. The snaps are easy and the added caribiner line makes it simple to just leave it in the pack as I'm heading out the door. Sufficient space to carry the purification tabs, dressings, and small kits that I like to carry without worrying about a broken bottle of iodine smearing all over the inside of a nylon pack. Water-tested to 40 feet - the contents (a cellphone and a few other incidentals that shouldn't get wet) and accidentally backed over by a truck, this little case has had more scars in its short run than I've had opportunity to crack it open and use its contents. A definite plus - Pelican makes excellent cases.

Bought two of these for storage on a small boat. One holds a VHF radio and the other for cellphone and wallet and keys. Nice rubber padding inside.
