This sled is ideal for little ones who can hold their heads up fine but might find it difficult to sit in a sled with no back support. My daughter is 15 months and loves being in this sled. It glides beautifully and isn't heavy so that if she wants to walk/be carried, I can manage both. My only complaint would be that the packaging it comes in should be reinforced. It could easily cause damage to the sled.

It's not often that you find a product that is safe for toddler and built well. My nephews love to sled and this is a safe option for them.

I purchased this sled for my 10 month old grandson. I wanted this sled because there is a sled cushion (purchased from leaps and bounds) that fits perfectly and can be customized with a child's name. This sled is absolutely adorable and very sturdy and of good quality. I liked this style of sled better than the toboggan type (which is the type of sled available with the cushion I spoke of) because I feel that the straight sled is safer than the toboggan style due to the swooped up circular runners. The sled is a keepsake for sure and very unique and quite useful! My grandson loved it when he opened it for Christmas and his dad pulled him around in it all over our house. Both parents were very impressed with the sled, as much as I am.

Last winter my son who was 10 months looooved the sled! I loved it too because it was safe for him. This winter I can't wait to bring it out again, because it's big enough for my son again and probably for the next couple of years after.. I really like this product!!!

Absolutely beautiful piece of workmanship. Not a mark on it. It was used but also in Excellent condition and that was the way I bought it..that is why I like Amazon, for the different kinds of purchases availble to the buyer. The sleigh is great, I put his name on it and he will ride in it to the beach this winter rapped in a blanket. He does not like the snow or the cold. i thought getting a sleigh was bright. I was going to make him one...but this is better. Thanks.

This is a Christmas present for my granddaughter so haven't tried it out yet. It arrived in perfect condition and looks just like what I expected.

Just received the sleigh. looks ok, haven't tried it out yet but the runners on the sleigh i received are NOT red. I was disappointed because I chose this over another sleigh on amazon's site because this one had red runners and thus was more attractive. Amazon did do their best to correct the situation and make me happy so kudos to Amazon, but just beware that the runners are NOT RED.

I spent so much time looking for my baby`s first sleigh. I was a bit concerned because few reviews mentioned bad packaging. They were right unfortunately. The sleigh was shipped in the original box, there was nothing in the box to keep it safe during shipping. Box got damaged and so did the sleigh, it was broken. I sent it back and got refund.

Be aware the sitting area of the sleigh is maybe 3 inches above the ground. I would call it useless. And when I bought it there were no dimensions defined.

Sledge are made very well, but they not for driving from mountain. It was necessary to grease runners with wax.
