PDR 2006 electronic -- improved but not perfect
I've been using the electronic PDR for several years now. The 2006 program shows some improvements: the license is now valid through May, 2008 (the program no longer "expires" at the end of the calendar year), and can be installed on your hard drive, so you no longer have to put the CD in every time you want to check a reference. Having color photos of drugs is a nice...

Please disclose the limited license up front
Purchased it then immediately returned it once I found the license INSIDE the CD case that indicated that this was a time limited license. Once the license expires the database can no longer be used. It would have been nice to know that up front as I would have ordered hard bound instead of this item.

I've been using the electronic PDR for several years now. The 2006 program shows some improvements: the license is now valid through May, 2008 (the program no longer "expires" at the end of the calendar year), and can be installed on your hard drive, so you no longer have to put the CD in every time you want to check a reference. Having color photos of drugs is a nice feature, especially without having to go online. The program itself has a somewhat goofy interface, but is actually true to the print edition. Overall, the new 2006 electronic PDR is improved, but not perfect.
