It is very good for the tests that are listed but I also use "Nurses guide to Understanding laboratory and diagnostic tests" By Denise D Wilson. Because this one lists tests the other one does not but lacks the detail of the PDR Lab Advisor. So I think you need both

The "PDR Lab Advisor 2007" is an excellent resource for various tests ordered by the physician. The authorship reveals clinical expertise, attention to detail, and reader-friendly writing.
