Nice and Compact, September 25, 2005
This review is from: PDVK-2 Portable DVD Player Case (Black) (Electronics)
This fits my Coby Portable DVD player with a 7" screen nicely. It has a velcro strap to hold down the portable player as well as other compartments that can hold the power supply, headphones, remote and some DVDs.

Great little case, holds all my stuff securely, September 26, 2006
This review is from: PDVK-2 Portable DVD Player Case (Black) (Electronics)
I got mine for around 21.48 at a chain store, and I like it a lot. I have an 8" toshiba widescreen unit that fits securely in there. The actual case is a vinyl fake lether outside with DVD zipper pouch, two side pouches for cables, and a back pouch that has room for 6 dvd's in a built in sleeve and 2 dvd boxes. Also has four straps that you can secure it to the back of the front car seats, and a build in headphone jack splitter that takeso one earphone spot, and splits it to two. There is also a cord out hole in the back. Not a bad haul for a trip. I hope you like this item as well.

PORTABLE DVD PLAYER CASE KOSKIN (PDVK-2) by Case Logic Fits My Polaroid PDX-0073: 7" Portable DVD Player (barely but perfectly), February 24, 2007
This review is from: PDVK-2 Portable DVD Player Case (Black) (Electronics)
My DVD player's dimensions follow: 9"wide x 8"deep x 2"high (with battery attached). I'm telling you the DVD player fits without any room to spare. If your DVD player's dimensions exceed mine, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.
There are two side compartments (one on each side) to store my power adapter/cable, RCA stereo cables, and compact headphones. That's it, nothing more for those side compartments. My power adapter dimensions follow: 3"long x 2"wide x 2"thick (thickness includes the adapter body and two prongs that plug-in to a standard electrical wall outlet). The inside of one side compartment measures 7.5"long x 3.5"wide x 2"high. Like I said, my power adapter/cable fits but don't try anything thicker than 2" in one compartment.
The case came with 4 straps and a manual showing how to attach it in a vehicle two ways: (1) behind a seat and (2) between 2 bucket seats. I didn't buy the case for that reason but I wanted the option. I haven't tried the straps, yet, but I'm confident they'll work. One of the straps can be attached to each side of the case exterior (metal loops) to act as a shoulder strap.
The back compartment dimensions follow: 10"wide x 6.5"tall x 1.5"deep. It houses my DVD player's owner manual, the 4 straps it came with, and 6 DVD movie discs in a "stitched-in" 6-disc pocket organizer. That's it. I could probably fit 20 more DVD movie discs in this compartment if each disc were in its own paper envelope.
There are two stereo headphone jacks (female) stitched on the case exterior near the handle as a single component that splits the audio signal so two people can listen via headphones to the same movie. Allow for ample headphone cable to reach the case. I did not notice a loss of volume through either headphone jack.
There is a rubber gasket pass-thru on the bottom of the case if you want to keep the DVD player's power adapter plugged-in to the unit while it remains in the case.
I would discourage dropping a bowling ball on the case but it provides enough protection for my portable DVD player that I can toss it in the cupboard and pull it out (with all of its components/accessories already inside) the next time we travel. Besides protection, storage was the main goal for this purchase.
I lucked-out with this purchase. I had a very difficult time researching "actual" dimensions for each compartment on just about any case on the Internet, let alone Amazon. In fact, the only reason I spent time writing this review was to give you my dimensions. So, I suggest paying close attention to those dimensions listed in each product description because the title might say it fits a 10" DVD player but reality may be different.
Good Luck!
