I use them in my ski boots...womens size 8. They dry the boots great in just a few hours. However when I removed the dryer it broke in two pieces and the wire between the two pieces broke. I then had to use the remaining dryer in both boots alternating them after a few hours. I was then very careful removing the dryer from the boot but oops the second one broke also. This time I carefully removed the two pieces without breaking the wire and was able to repair it myself. PEET has a stated they will repair or replace the broken part.

I love this product. I read the other review that says that their shoes did not dry over night, and it makes me wonder if the reviewer is wading in a pond before bed, or perhaps they got a dud product. Mine easily dry my shoes overnight, and probably in just a few hours, even when I've been watering the lawn/washing the dog, etc... and the shoes become fairly drenched. These shoes will COMPLETELY eliminate any odor/fungal problem, and make your shoes last at least double their life without using it. Plus they feel so much more comfortable when you first put them on, like a newer pair of shoes, (but after you've worn them in). Also, this model easily packs up for travel, even plugged into an auto-outlet. I swear I'm not a paid reviewer, just excited about the reasonably significant effect this product has had on my daily, active life! The product design could use a little more finesse, but functionally, is ideal.

This product is much larger than it looks and will NOT fit inside a hardshell ski boot unless you have a huge foot! The part that must fit flat against the bottom of your sole is 8 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"--try getting a piece of wood of those dimensions or something similar around the curve of the inside of your ski boot before ordering this. What a shame!

I use these in sneakers, work boots and motorcycle boots. I put this in a pair and in a few hours and sometimes overnight the shoes are dry depending on how hot it was outside or if it was raining/wet when I was out.

When folded up they are really small and I can store them easily out of the way which is why I had gotten these instead of any floor mounted unit.

I'd definitely replace it with the same model if I broke it or if it lasts a few years without a problem and I may even get another one since sometimes the shoes waiting to be dried pile up depending on the activities of the day.

I purchased these based on the smaller size, being able to use it for travel (12 volt adapter included) and strong feedback of Peet shoe dryers. Unfortunately these went back to Amazon. I loved the smaller size as well as the travel feature, but I wear my shoes everyday and my shoes (let alone boots) did not dry overnight. This portable dryer uses Ultraviolet light only to dry the shoes. Peet states this will help to neutralize bacteria as it dries. They may do that better than dry, but I needed a shoe/boot dryer (although some may argue otherwise). These may be great if you have more than one pair of shoes or you can afford more drying time. Two stars since the product is listed as a shoe dryer but does not advertise as overnight. I highly recommend the original Peet dryer for overnight drying. A complaint I have for both models is there is no on/off switch - one has to unplug them from the outlet and sometimes that is forgotten.

Okay I play sports 4-8 times a week(yeah 8), and this takes the funk out of your shoes after a few days. The other reviewer was right about shoes smelling better. They don't seem hot enough to dry them over night, or seem like the lights will kill any bacteria but they did mine. That would be the only reason I can see why they smell like new now. And I purposely wore the same pair every night I played for the last 5 nights straight. No more need of having 5 pairs of shoes to rotate. On note is I did follow the instructions of leaving them in overnight. I also took out the extra insoles I had put in do to sore feet from playing too much.

This item worked great. Make sure you turn the shoes upside down after inserting. These worked wonderful on both my heavy and medium hunting boots!

Dries boots easily overnight and the UV does seem to help with boot odor. Being portable is nice to take the driers to work for overnight shifts. No more damp boots in the morning

We bought this product to save the $100 soccer cleats we had bought my daugther. They were smellling so bad after summer practices and camps that we thought we would have to throw them away. We found this product on Amazon.com and purchased it. After about 2 days of leaving the footwarmers in the smell had markedly decreased. After 2 weeks of putting the Peet Dryer Go's in the shoes after practice and then spraying the shoes with an ordor neturalizing product (which we had tried before without the dryers) the smell is gone. If my daughter forgets to use the dryer the smell does begin to return after a few practices. However the product worked very well for us. It sovled our problem. I would highly recommend it for cleats.

This shoe/boot dryer is excellent. I started out using the PEET dryer primarily to dry out my snowboard boots after a day on the hill. This dryer easily drys thick snowboard boots overnight, and ski boots too without having to pull the liner. The travel set it great for overnights just throw it in a bag and you can dry boots anywhere. I sometimes use the car charger to warm up my boots on the way to the mountain so when i boot up in the parking lot my boots are toasty. I now use this dryer for everything. Tennis shoes, running shoes, I even squeeze gloves on to the end of it. The UV light kills odors and makes my shoes last longer and not smell. So for the money I end up using it year round.

Lastly, something happened to my charger and it stopped working. I could not dry my boots. I called PEET and they replaced my dryer no questions asked. Super nice people in CS. They stand behind the product.

Bottom line. Smelly boots are not cool. Wet boots SUCK. If you have ever had to deal with soggy boots before a long day of snowboarding you know that paying 30 dollars to have dry boots is a no brainer.
