I spent $50.00 ordering this and did not know that you can't use it if you have an iud. it didnt have any warnings when i was ordering it. it was the first thing i saw when i opened up the package. I hope someone that has an iud reads this and saves themselves $50.00

These exercisers were very easy to use. Directions were easy to follow - good information on where to start. Wish the weights were labeled with their weight size - but I labeled the box they were in which helped. Noticeable improvement, I have not had any discomfort using this product.

I've been using this product for over 7 years! I use to do kegel exercise. Stared right my first child was born. Had second child and wondered if there anything to help. I found this product in Brazil and stared using. When using the lightest thought was too easy, skipped to #3, as I stared walking the cone was coming out of VG, felt very uncomfortable. So, went to #2. Improves everything, bladder, sexual performance etc. Today I'm on last one 90grams. I really recommend this great product. Is worth it, just be patient and use as much as you feel comfortable. The proper use will make such a huge difference!!!!

I bought these after trying the GyneFlex with VTP (R) - Regular Strength, I thought they were a great product but just not for my lifestyle. I'm a mom of 3 young children, trying to find 15 minutes of "alone time" to lay down and do Kegels with them was unrealistic so I tried these, and am so happy I did. Probably a little TMI but I can put a heavier one in in the morning right before I get in the shower. I keep it in while moving around, getting ready, shaving legs etc - take it out and clean it off right before I get dressed - 15-20 minutes of multi-tasking kegel exercises! In the evening you can go with a lighter weight, while doing bath time with the kids, cleaning up the kitchen - up and the down the stairs are the ultimate challenge. Again another 15-20 minutes of kegel exercises without "trying". I've noticed a huge improvement in incontinence and more powerful "Os".
I have the same issue as others in that the weights are not labeled (only reason I didn't give them 5 stars), I keep mine in a mesh cosmetic bag so they can air dry after cleaning so I just cut out the little description from the packaging and keep it in the bag for reference.

I ordered these to work on my incontinence issue. I am 37 and had a baby 3 1/2 years ago. I leak urine when I perform strenuous exercise such as jogging and aerobics. I am excited to use these because they contain six weight levels. On the first day, I followed the instructions and tried each level for 2 minutes. I was able to retain the largest weight without any slippage. I was stumped and disappointed because I wasn't sure if I was using them right and didn't think these were going to work for me. The next day I tried them again and this time I started with the heaviest one and couldn't even hold it for 10 seconds. I went down a couple of levels and had success. The next day I could not hold the same weight and had to go to one of the even lighter ones. I need to give these more time as my body responds to them differently each day. I am hoping for positive results over the next month. Overall, the product is very easy to use. I gave the product a 4 because it would have been nice to have a case that zippered or snapped shut to store them in.

I'm 60 years old and even though I did Kegel exercises for decades, urinary frequency was becoming more and more of an issue for me. What I mean by urinary frequency is that when I felt like I'd need to pee soon, the smart thing to do was to head straight to the bathroom, before it was too late. Obviously, it was time to learn more about this issue.

So I read what Dr. Christiane Northrup had to say about urinary frequency in her book Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, and she recommended using vaginal weights. I'd never heard of vaginal weights before, but fortunately Amazon had. I tried the Kegelcisor first, but was dissatisfied with it, so I sent it back and ordered the Kegel Exercise Weights.

At first, I couldn't hold the lightest weight in for more than 15 seconds, but, encouraged by the reviews of other women, I kept using the lightest weight twice a day. After two weeks, I could sometimes hold it in place for 15 minutes! Definite progress. My routine has been to insert the weight while I'm in the bathroom each morning and evening, while brushing my teeth, showering, putting on make-up, etc.

I find I have to use more muscles that I used to use with the Kegel exercise...which may be why they didn't work as well for me. All the pelvic floor muscles seem to be involved when holding the Kegel weight in place, that is, all the muscles that would come in contact with a sanitary napkin, if you were wearing one. Tense and lift those muscles, and the Kegel weight will stay in place, at least for awhile. The goal is to get up to 15 minutes for each weight, and once you can do that on a regular basis, then move up to the next heavier weight.

I am happy to report I've finally graduated to the second weight!... It's taken about 10 weeks, and while that might sound like a long time, I noticed a definite improvement in terms of urinary frequency after only two weeks of using the weights. Now I can easily wait 15 or 20 minutes after feeling the first urge to pee before I need to head to the bathroom...much better. And I can often sleep all night without needing to get up to use the bathroom.

I find it easiest to hold the weight in when both the bladder and bowel are empty, if that's any help.

If you try these weights, keep using them and do not give up. In time I'm certain you'll see improvement and progress. The Kegel weights are an investment, but a very good investment in terms of your health and comfort! I am very happy I bought them and have had so much success already. I hope you do, too! Read more ›
