Product Description

The bright, high - contrast PENTAX Gameseeker 30 Riflescope is at its best when game is on the move. And that typically isn't the middle of a bright sunlit day. The PENTAX Gameseeker's fully multi-coated optics give your eye the benefit of the best possible light transmission when it's needed most: in the low light of early morning or late evening. Don't worry about it standing up to heavy recoil or nasty weather, either. The Gameseeker's high-quality aircraft aluminum, 30 mm single-piece tube construction is tested to stand up to the same "G" forces F-16 fighter pilots experience. Then they're filled with nitrogen gas and double sealed with heavy-duty neoprene "O" rings for a lifetime leakproof, fogproof seal! Finger adjustable windage and elevation turrets and the bullet drop compensating Precision Plex reticle round out the package. Buy rings separately. An eye-opener in the field! Order your PENTAX Gameseeker 30 right here! WARNING: This item cannot be shipped to Canada. Please check your State, County and City laws for restrictions before ordering these products. Bought this as a scope for my .30-06 Tikka. Ended up putting it on my M4. You would think not a great match but, 1" groups at 100 with a meeger shooting rest and was consistantly putting down soda cans (great targets wen you buy them at Walmart for $3.99/case) at 200yds. this is a $500 scope for the price of the mediocre ones!

seems to be a very nice scope. very surprised at the quality of the glass and how positive the adjustments for windage and elevation are. reticle looks like it should be useful. weekend prairie dogging will tell how it will hold up but it has a life time warranty so not worried.

I rarely buy anything like a scope without at least picking it up and looking through it, but I took a chance on this scope based upon the reviews and the fact that a friend of mine had a pentax camara years ago that he loved. I'm very glad I took the chance; I mounted this thing on my 6mm ackley and have had nothing but fun. Someone mentioned that the cross hairs are thin which is true, and you should consider that for your application, but if your application is like mine (long distance target/varmint) you will find that thin is great. Is it as good as my friends Night Force? No. But his scope was over $1200 more expensive. Is it a better scope than your rifle is accurate... Most Likely.

In my experience this scope is as good or better than anything I have messed with under $400.

I bought this scope after watching my friends buy the Zeiss Conquest, Vortex Vipers and Night Force scopes at very high prices. All is heard was "Pentax are made in China". Well, after a little research I found the Conquest and the Vortex are also made in Asia...so, big deal.

The optics and light gathering ability of the Pentax are outstanding. much better than I had dreamed. I just mounted it on my new Armalite AR-10 and it looks Beautiful! A buddy helped me laser boresight it yesterday. The scope has all the features of a much more expensive scope. This is the third Pentax Gameseeker scope I have purchased and I am a believer. Excellent product. My other two are mounted on an AR-15 and a Remington 742 and they both dialed right in and are tackdrivers. GREAT SCOPE!!!

I shopped around for a low priced high quality scope. I really couldn't find anything I liked that had all the features I wanted for a reasonable price and I needed this for a varmint rifle that mostly sits on a bench so I wasn't worried about it getting knocked around.

This scope has all the features I wanted, a 30 mm tube, large objective lens, dial turrets, a side parallax adjustment and high magnification.

This scope was everything I wanted. The lenses are very clear and accuracy is right on. The turrets are very simple to use and the magnification works great with excellent clarity at high magnification. I have never had any experience with Pentax scopes and thought of them as kinda cheap because I didn't see them at the big online stores. After a great deal of time shopping around, I read all the reviews and decided to try this scope based on the great reviews I saw.
I have owned many scopes over the years and I am extremely happy that I made this purchase. I would definitely recommend this scope to anyone.

This is an excellent scope for this price point. I mounted in on a Savage bolt in .204 Ruger and it is an absolute dream to shoot.

I purchased this scope through Amazon. As I do many of my daily and my special items. This is a clear scope. I like the side focus knob feature. For the money it is a good buy. I have a few Burris scopes as well as a Leupold VX2. So far this pentax is on par with those. However it is on a very light recoiling gun that will not be used in harsh weather. If I had the money I would own a few Night Force scopes too.
Still this Pentax is as good of a unit as their cameras are. So far as good as a Nikon scope too.
It has a good warrenty assuming the company stands beside this too.
I would buy this again, for the same price.
I just spent a half a day with this scope. I am very pleased with it. Even with the heat it gave a clear image, the side focus is great and even though I did not go over 20X the magnification is clear, tight and rather remarkable. This is a fine scope. Leupold quality? Perhaps under these conditions it is.
The more time I spend using this scope the more I am considering buying another Pentax scope through Amazon. It is clear, bright, adjustments are sound, tall turrets are nice. Only issue is that windage knob has a confusing mark for L and R. So I put a dot on the Right direction for Right.
This is a great scope. I wish ammunition for my lil 17HMR were easier to come by. Great scope to own.
