Everyone with dogs & cats should try this!,
I was disturbed when I read accounts of what really goes on in the making of most pet food. Manufacturers can grind up spinal tissue and other by-products, and then we feed it to our pets! If you're like me, and treat your pet like a member of the family, you will definitely want to consider switching to Pet Promise, whose manufacturers only use pasture-fed animal meat, ocean-caught fish, and NO rendered fats and proteins.
Pet Promise's tagline is "Let byproducts be bygones" and there are none to be found in this food. Think about it: if we humans eat junk food all the time, we're not going to be very healthy, are we? The same principle would apply to your pet. And please don't be dissuaded by the thought that this type of food would "cost more" than the cheaper brands. I've found that my cat Abby actually needs *less* Pet Promise to be full, so the cost turns out to be comparable to the other major brands' foods. Take care of your cherished cat or dog and give Pet Promise a try. They'll love it - and you'll love that you're keeping your pet healthier and happy!

Company Respects All Animals,
By
This review is from: PETPRM DRY CAT DLY HEALTH 3# (Misc.)
My fussy cat has been eating Pet Promise dry food for a couple of years. It's the only kibble that she wants to eat. After she began eating this kibble, her coat became more soft and shiny.
I particularly like the company that makes this product because it's the only one I've found that uses humanely-treated and sustainably raised chickens, turkeys, and cattle for its meat sources. As a first-time pet owner, I have found it very odd that there is so much emphasis on giving pets a diet that is supposed to be natural and healthy for their systems while completely ignoring the fact that the meat that comprises these "natural diets" is usually sourced from animals that have lived most "unnaturally," and unhealthily, e.g. debeaked chickens housed their entire lives in grossly overcrowded and cramped conditions with little or no access to the outdoors, sunlight, and fresh air (even those fed a natural diet), as well as being subject to other questionable practices and abuse. ("Free-range" can mean that birds have access to a closet size piece of dirt and likewise the "organic" label does not guarantee humane treatment.) I really appreciate that this company sources its meats from family-owned farms and ranches that use humane practices that provide the animals with a more natural and healthy environment.
