works well enough,
By The only problem is that the carbonation isn't as stiff as buying bottled soda water, and the CO2 cartridges are fairly expensive. Still, it's more fun to make water than buy the bottles, so it continues as part of my household.

Fresh seltzer always,
For drinks I was making, bottled seltzer would lose too much fizz before I finished half a bottle--even with using a bottle repressurizer.
This is perfect. From beginning to end, it is as fresh as a freshly opened store bought bottle. My mojitos are now pefect. Make sure you use cold water when first filling.

OK but I found a better alternative,

I bought this and it works fine. But, it is not as fizzy as I'd like. There is an alternative that lets you control the fizziness and is cheaper per bottle. The Soda Club seltzer maker more than makes up for its higher cost by being cheaper per bottle (30 cents v 80 cents for this one). If you drink more than one bottle a day as we do, that pays for itself pretty quickly.
Both are better, cheaper and more convenient than store-bought. Also, more fun. So I encourage you to buy one or the other if you drink a lot of seltzer. 2115|R39X10W5RB5BZ4;2115|R38XH4KRT3ATAM;2115|R316GFQ4282RLH;
