Does not really capture audio aspects of a pine forest., November 1, 1999

I was looking forward to hearing the numerous species of birds and insects typical of this ecosystem. Instead, it sounds like they just recorded the wind somewhere. The creatures are few and far between.

I find this tape quite unique. It makes me feel secure as I enjoy imagining dryness and clarity of the air. I like the suttle sound of twigs, too. Despite the opinion of the previous reviewer, frankly, too much sound of birds and insects would be superfluous. The beauty of this tape is that it lets your imagination go freely. Worth listening particularly if you are living in a country where humidity and wet weather put you off.
