All my life a have been, in one war or another, connected to music. I listened to classical music since I was 7 years old, and played the bass guitar and drums in a band. So I usually pay attention to the background rhythm and percussion.

I replaced the stock speakers in my 2010 Nissan Altima rear deck with these, and the door speakers with the Pioneer TS-D1602R (full set of Pioneer D-series speakers in the car). I could not believe the sound quality and details I was missing before. These speakers produce clear and crisp sound in the highs and mids, and the lows hit really deep. All I have is a 22 watt/channel HU and don't think I need an amp now that I can hear such details.

I applied Dynamat sound deadeners on my doors and rear deck, and I know this also contributed to the sound quality improvement.

These speakers are pretty sweet. They have a great sound, decent bass, and are very clean. The magnet is HUGE and they can take a lot of power, but I'm running them with about 75 RMS and they sound good. It's a lot nicer than a typical 2-way because it has a built in crossover that you can actually see, so it performs similar to a component speaker. Over all I give it four stars, as it could be little better in the mids. It seems like highs are great, lows are great, mids are a bit muddled. But outside of that, good speaker.

ok but no impressed, diff between $50 and $100 is hard to tell if at all! Bass is lacking, mids non-exiistent

I purchased these to replace my old 5 way Pioneer 6x9's, these play at least 3 times better!!
they handle twice as much power and are much clearer than the old pair!!

Bought these to replace the door speakers in an 08 Toyota FJ cruiser. need the (taco tunes) spacer for the FJ wit these speakers. The sound is great. Much better than stock (wafers), and these perform like no other 6X9 I have seen before. These crank pretty hard, and sound good 2 with added Amp and head unit.

I checked a number of web sites for these speakers. Some wanted twice what Amazon was selling them for. The fit great and sound great too! If I need another set sometime, these guys would have my business again!

I installed these TS 6902R 2 way rear speakers along with the TS-D1720C 6.75 Component front speakers in my sons 3000GT equipped with a Panasonic CQ-C700U CD Player/Receiver with 50 watts per channel and we're all still smiling. The speakers were well packaged and delivered in a very timely manner and without damage with all parts included per the packaging. The included instructions are somewhat scattered and not very well organized but adequate for the installation. The quality of the speakers is immediately obvious. Installation completed the pleasure begins as the built-in crossovers work to perfect very clear sound with little to no distortion producing clear and crisp sound throughout the full range regardless of the selected volume. I am especially pleased with the Bass response (it's as though we added a subwoofer) compared to the OEM Infinity Gold Speakers. I definitely recommend this setup to anyone wanting to improve the sound system quality of the 3000GT.

The original rear deck speakers in my 2001 Honda Civic coupe were history--torn and deteriorated. Initially, I sought replacements at Crutchfield but they had only 3-4 total choices that they indicated would "fit" this vehicle--and at an unreasonable cost. Amazon said these speakers would fit my vehicle but that stretches the definition of "fit". It seems Crutchfield had actually done their homework regarding fit. The large magnets and depth of these speakers interfered with the trunk lift rods such that I had to remove the center rod mounting support to have even a prayer of installing these--a procedure not for the faint of heart. Moreover, the instructions failed to indicate how to hand-wire the speaker wires with regard to positive and negative. Luckily, my Honda Service Manual revealed the correct configuration. Be warned that in this vehicle the speakers mount from on top, requiring the removal of five major plastic panels and disentangling the various seatbelt harnesses--a real trick. I have done multiple car speaker replacements in the past but this was by far the most challenging. Amazon needs to more carefully assess the meaning of "fit" to include mounting depth as well as hole alignment. Once in, these speakers are dramatic improvements over the originals.
