I bought these for my husband who is in construction and boy do they withstand the rigors of work! They are insulated and keep his hands warm in the winter. They are not bulky and conform to the hand so he doesn't have to take his gloves off to do fine work. We'll be buying more...if and when these wear out.

First let me say I'm a roofer by trade. I've been on a quest to find a glove that will provide several things with a low price. I've tried cow hide, cotton, latex, cloth gloves and currently have to pairs I'm testing. Now what I'm looking for in a glove is simple. 1. price. I want a cheaper glove, and if the glove is cheap enough it can justify poor durability. 2. protection. I need a glove that will resist nails to a certain degree, and stop minor cuts. 3. water resistance. Now this is fairly important. if gloves get wet then they stay wet throughout the day. which is not acceptable to me. 4. weather protection. This is the least important for me personally. I want a glove that will keep my hands warm. all day long. 5. durability. I want my gloves to last a minimum of 2 weeks. this is most important. Now these gloves accomplish several things. First they do stop nails, minor cuts etc. very well. Just as good as cow hide does. So I am pleased with this. Second they keep my hands warmer than any glove I've tried except for hunting gloves. I love this about this gloves. third they slow down how soon water seeps in. they take about an hour longer before my hands get wet. Which I'm ok with. Fourth is durability. Now these gloves only lasted a week. Cow hide last 2 weeks at $2.50 a pair. Cotton, cloth, latex all last about 2 days. This is actually where I'm most disappointed. I expectes them to last a week and a half easy to justify the cost. Unfortunately this is what deters me from these gloves. For the price I expected slightly better durability. However roofing is rough on gloves. So the fact they wore down didn't surprise me. If you used these gloves for literally anything else, aside from block work or brick work, they should perform exceptionally well for nearly all applications. I loved everything about these gloves except durability and that's just because of my occupation. I would highly recommend these gloves for most jobs.

Not as warm as I would like but it does a better job than many other more expensive gloves. Excellent for the price.
