Bought this to replace a battery powered speaker set that didn't create a very good sound at all. Love the versatility of this in that you can use it with batteries or plug it into the wall and save some money. I use it daily as I take my mp3 player to work and also use it at home. I was amazed at the sound that comes out of these tiny speakers. Maybe it's not a BOSE system, but then again it didn't cost $500 either! The sound is terrific for what I use it for and doesn't seem to distort when I'm at home and crank it up a bit. When I'm done I just slip it in the included storage bag and nothing left sitting out on the counter (or wherever). I'm not an Apple geek so the fact that it works flawlessly with my Sandisk Fuze made me very happy! Someday when this wears out I'll be right back here buying another one--love this item!

I was in the market for a portable speaker system for my Zen mp3 player that has my massage music on it. I wanted this to do out calls (mobile massage). The unit is very portable, the speakers pop up the input plug also acts as a stabilizer. It comes with a AC power adapter, thus saving batteries. The set up takes about 30 seconds.

I was very satisfied with this product. I realy like the fact that there is a separate volume control. It makes the product that much easier to use.

I purchased this for my daughter. I really didn't expect much -- I mean, come on -- four little dinky speakers in a fold-up package, how good can they sound? Honestly, they sound pretty good. They don't have thundering bass (duh), but you can at least hear the low end. These are far better than most clock radios, even stereo ones, and can easily fill a room or two with sound at a comfortable level. Turned up high and they will eliminate conversation, all while maintaining surprisingly clear audio. I am very pleased.

I am beginning to think that Amazon has just grown too big for pay phrase or one click to work anymore. I didn't want three, but they work well, already gifted one of the extra sets and it was very much appreciated. works really well and sound quality impressive for such a compact system and hooks up to most MP3's. Just wish it weren't so hard to return anything, do anything about orders never received, etc... . I miss the Amazon I knew and trusted for so many years.

It will be hard to find a set of speakers with this quality of sound for a cheaper price. Most speaker sets in this price range are junk. Also, you can use this on either a MP3 Player (Sansa) or IPOD

not very good sound for music , but more than adequate for talk radio podcasts from NPR

When I ordered this for my iPod, I was looking for portable sound, not a boombox. It delivers the sound. It does fold into a compact package (they provide a little long bag). It is fairly easy to set up and plug in. The drawbacks are: the plastic clip that holds the iPod on the front is not real secure and doesn't allow me to put the charger plug in. It does not dock and charge. Although it came with an AC adapter, I bought a wall, USB charger and car charger thing also from Amazon for about $3.50 which lets me charge the iPod. I lay the iPod on the table in front of the speakers instead of hanging it on the clip. Also, I can plug the speakers into the headphone jack on my MacBook and use them as laptop speakers. I would order it again, but was disappointed in how the iPod attached and how the plug on the back of the speakers functions as the balance to keep the speakers upright. It is compact and has the sound I was looking for.

Worked right out of the box. At low volume sound OK, like you would expect from a motel bedside clock radio. At high volume sound breaks up and is distorted. Guess that's about all that can be expected from a 20 some odd dollar sound system.
Was going to return it, but at this price level why bother. I'll take it on my travels and use it instead of the even worse sound system on motel bedside radios.

I disposed of this unit about a month after receipt. The speakers fell out of the supporting bar and could not be fixed. It's a piece of junk.

Decent sound, small and convenient to travel but it doesn't charge your iPod while playing. Overall it's not worth it if you ask me. Spend a few extra a get one that charges
