This toy stimulated my 3 yr old b/c of the puzzle factor and my 11 mth old enjoyed taking the rings off and trying to put them back on.

The pieces are unfinished, we'll have to sand them down before giving it to the kids. The colors are very dull compared to the picture.

I bought the stacker thinking that it would be a fun toy for my grandsons and after seeing them play I definitely recommend the P'kolino Puzzle Stacker because THEY LOVE IT!!! It's not only a fun toy for them; it's also educational and helps to improve their motor skills.

I purchased this toy for my one year old grandson. The quality is wonderful - it's so difficult today to find toys as well made as the ones I bought for my own children years ago. The colors were just about as vivid as in the picture and the wood finish was very smooth. I especially like the fact that the rings can be stacked in any order. I am sure this toy will be passed down for many years to come. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

As a previous reviewer mentioned, the puzzle stacker we received does have numerous rough edges, unlike the Haba and Melissa and Doug etc toys we own. I haven't filed the edges down, and they don't bother my 2.5yrold at all (ours is not jagged enough to cause splinters or scrape her skin, more-so just rough). Our version's colours are vibrant as pictured though.

My 2.5yr old daughter enjoys manipulating this puzzle stacker - at this point she is able to pair the correct sized colored/natural pieces together, but is not really interested in then stacking the pairs in correct size order. She also enjoys rolling the pairs across the floor and watching them wobble apart.

Because of how much she enjoys playing with it, I would buy it again. For the price it should be finished better though.

It has been 3 months since we got this toy for my 2.5 year boy. Since then he has tried many times to learn to complete the puzzle until last week when he finally got it right(something he is really proud for). The toy is very well made, engaging and fun. My boy now proudly shows us every day how he is able to complete the stacking without assistance and is now challenging friends to do it as well during play dates. I would highly recommend this toy.

I love, LOVE this stacker. It is a puzzle as well as a stacker and there are many ways that a child can play with it.

The wood is awesome quality - heavy solid hardwood (more on that later). Pieces are stained, not painted, so no worries about chipped paint. Downside is that because it is stained, the colors are not as vibrant as those in the photos.

The puzzle factor of the stacker is a bit difficult for very young toddlers (1-2 yr olds) to figure out. The product description on amazon says it is for 1+, but the box of the product says it is for 3+, now what 3-yr old is into stacking anymore? So yes, that's the downside of this stacker. But my 18-mo old plays with it, and that's the 5-10 min I need here and there.

One thing to keep in mind is that the pieces are hardwood and very heavy. When I first got it, my 1-yo was having trouble with the larger pieces; he could not pick them up with one hand, but he managed using two hands (he is very strong and has good grip and fine motor skills so that helped too). Now the true downside of the heavy wood is that my 1-yo likes to throw things, so when he threw one of the pieces, I realized that it could cause real damage. Fortunately it hit the rug or he would have left a dent on our hardwood floors or the coffee table. But the piece did not crack or break, so I am a happy owner of the stacker.

My son, who doesn't like any toys, loves this. He prefers only grown up item and things we don't want him to have. (like most 12-month-olds). He loves this and it is so creative and different than similar toys. So much he can do with it. My older children like it too. Its sturdy, been dropped, scratched, etc. and not a mark on the smooth, well finished wood. He's even chewed on it. Great toy.

The colors aren't as bright as the picture when you actually get it, but it's still a great stacker. It's so much more interesting than the traditional stacking rings, and it offers way more opportunity to learn and problem solve.
