Simplicity defined.

Step 1. Take out of package.
Step 2. Plug into LAN connection.
Step 3. Plug into the back of your Wii.
Step 4. Go to Wii's Internet options, configure under "Wired". Wait.
Step 5. Start enjoying that fact that your Nintendo Wii is now online.

If you are looking to get your Wii online via a wired connection (which is near flawless compared to it's wireless counterpart) and you would like to save yourself some money, this really is the best option. Nintendo would like to charge you $30 for the exact same product -- DON'T BE FOOLED. Not only is this unit cheaper, it is smaller in size. Trust me when I say the official unit is a gargantuan lump of plastic.

I purchased it through Planex Communications, Inc. to get the free shipping option, as I had another order to go with it. No problems to report from that side of the deal either. It should be noted that PCI does not bundle an Ethernet cable with it. If you don't have a spare lying around, you can purchase a very cheap one via Amazon.

Works really fine, just plug it into your wii and that's all. The best thing is that you can use this little friend in any computer to convert an usb port into a lan port. Simply sweet.

Fast delivery, good price and works great. We use it to surf the net and play Mario Kart with others around the world. Does what it's suppose to for less than than other brands.

Well I am cheap and I don't have WiFi in my home so I had my choice between the official lan adapter or this one. This one didn't have any bad reviews and so I bought it. I can see why it doesn't have any bad reviews on it. It works great. I did have some problems in the begining but it turned out it was my cable modem and not the adapter itself. I just had to unplug it and then plug it back in and it works. The only problem I have with this is that the cord is real short so I have to bring my wii closer to my computer to use it.

Received the item and wasn't really expecting too much. But once i hooked this bad boy up to the net with my wii (everything was fantastic) it does just what it says it would. Great item.

Hooked up the adapter, modified my Wii's settings to use it instead of wireless, and it was up and running. Super easy and great price!

There isn't a product out there that is this good of a quality for the same price. I needed one for my Wii and this thing was just plug-and-play. It matches the Wii extremely well and the speed is great, no slower than my DSL on my Mac/PC. It's way cheaper than the Nintendo brand version.

The Wii is about 30' away from the wireless gateway I ave in my house. I even tried putting one in the same room. the Wifi on my LG390 BD player was working smoothly on NetFlix, but not the Wii. I purchased this to plug into an ASUS N Router that then connected to the gateway. It streams everything from my PlayOn server to all of the NetFlix streams without issue. Plus, plugging it in was a dream. Use this device if you ever want to get media onto your Wii without dropping out.

Nintendo designed the Wii Console to scan its USB ports for network broadcast... This means that any internet signal coming in on either of the USB ports would allow the console to use that port for internet connectivity. Simply go to the Wii Management Menu, navigate to "Internet", click one of the 3 connections available, choose wired and let the Wii do the rest. It's faster than wireless (by a very noticeable amount) and wired has always been and always will be the leader in stability and efficiency. Kudos to Planex for making such a well designed interface.

Tried everything to get this thing to work. All other reviews are positive and i really don't see how or why. I have my 360 and ps3 connected to the internet but this couldn't get my wii online. Maybe i got a bad one. Either way i sent it back the same day.
