I wasn't very happy when I got this. After only playing with it for a few weeks, the analog stick gets stuck, and even when it's not stuck the character on the game will keep going to the left. This is a terrible controler and you should take your buisness elsewhere. Buy a controler actually made by Nintendo

I play Smash Bros,,,, this didn't last me a week before the stick was wobbly.

Initially it looks and feels as good as an original game cube controller... but when you start playing with it, you notice how less sensible and accurate the stick is... if you can just "switch" the stick for a better quality one, then this might be a good buy for you.

The controller works and it looks just like a Nintendo first party controller, but its not great quality and its not durable enough to last very long. The controller is taking a beating from super smash bros, which was my main reason for buying it.

I bought three of these pads, all seem to work perfectly, have played Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Kolona, Sonic Colors, some NFS games, and alot of gamecube games with them and these pads work just right, they are lighter than the Nintendo pads, but provide same functionality, theres no click between half-held and fully pressed on the L and R buttons, but they are actually very smooth buttons (feel almost like xbox 360 triggers)but other than that, they are almost exactly like the originals, and yes, they work with any wii game that supports gamecube pads, so it is fully compatible with gamecube and wii (atleast in my experience).

They are also pretty durable from what ive noticed, my lil bro is rough with gamepads.. even tosses them.. and these still work

if character moves continuously in a direction (happened to me once) unplug controller, and plug back in without moving the joysticks

that is pretty mcuh only prob i had with mine the entire time I owned them, and it was because my bro was playing with it while I was plugging it in.

Don't buy this controller, buy an actual Nintendo Controller. Accidentally bought this third party controller instead of the Nintendo brand, and I regret it. The rubber on the joy-stick already fell off and I've only had it for two weeks. And right when I got it, something was off about the feel of the controller, how the buttons felt when you press them down, etc. Anyways, this thing is a POS, don't waste $7

This is a product from China. Its cheap so the item you get is cheap. I've had this controller for about 6 months. nothing hast broke so far but it had lagged and some of the sticks and buttons have gotten stuck. If you don't have any of that and want a smooth clean play then i suggest to buy the real one.

the plug that goes into the gamecube was broken. the metal pieces inside the plug that connects to the gamecube were either broken or missing and the plastic was chipped in half, thus rendering the controller useless.

I didn,t like it.

The control pad sticks to the left or to the right , and it is hard to push the A button. Some of the other buttons are stiff.

Looks like normal GameCube controller but in the end it's a cheap 3rd party controller. Veterans of the original controller will feel the difference immediately. The plastic feels different and more cheaper and not as smooth as the original. The same goes for the control sticks and buttons. The shoulder buttons feel even more different as you can feel and hear the spring when you press the L button. It plays pretty well nonetheless I can't complain even though I'm a hardcore melee player. The A button wasn't responsive as in I had to press down hard for it to read at the beginning and I was scared it would affect my gameplay but after a few matches I no longer had that problem and guesses I had to just brush it off. Anyways I'm satisfied with it but I think going the extra way for a used GameCube controller would have been more worth it for me since I'm a melee player. Anyways great price for those who are not sticklers for these things as well as cheap for a new controller.
