PLCD6MRKT Receiver

Play Back Your CDs

Enjoy your favorite CDs, complete with random mode, track preview, and other standard CD player features. If your music collection's on a hard drive rather than a shelf, you can also burn your favorite MP3/WMA files to a CD-R, for hours of music form a single disc. The PLCD6MRKT will display ID3 tag information, such as artist/track info.

AM/FM Radio

Sometimes you want some live programming, even if it's just to check up on weather or the latest news. The PLCD6MRKT features an AM/FM tuner with the ability to store 18 FM and 12 AM stations for instant access. In a new locale? Run the "Auto Best Station Memory" feature to place the stations with the strongest signals in memory.

Product Description

Pyle’s Hydra series has the solution for your marine audio needs – this kit includes a head unit, four white 5.25” speakers, and a splashproof tinted cover for the head unit. The head unit is capable of tuning AM/FM, playing audio and MP3 CDs, and has an auxiliary input to plug in another device like an iPod or MP3 player. It’s rated at 4 x 50 watts, so each speaker has plenty of independent power. And it comes with everything you’ve come to expect from a modern head unit: 3-beam laser tracking, anti-skip mechanism, loudness settings, and a 24 station memory. The LCD screen is backlit and shows relevant track info. A wireless remote control means you can change tracks without having to get up. For security, the anti-theft faceplate is detachable. This kit will have your boat rocking!

For what they call waterproof Marine AM/FM/CD player is way miss-labeled..this was installed in my boat by myself at a location where if the boat took on a huge wave,was in a torental down pore,capsized,or even sank it would not have gotten wet..after 3 outings in less than 2 months it just quit working...upon taking it apart the wire's to the face plate and to power the unit broke free from there sodder points cauced by corrosion from the salt air..Marine??? yeah right.. I use thread thicker than the wire's used in this unit to sew on buttons..and no sealent for the circut boards to protect the sodder joints...4 wire's just corroaded off... again Waterproof Marine...NOT...I spent 84.00 for this as it was advertized at a huge savings off retail of 259.00 makes ya wonder ...my advice to you DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.....................I would like my money back ,,,yeah dream on...oh and it came with 4 speakers (marine waterproof)and a face splash plate...I'm wondering when the speakers are gonna corroade,fall apart or just evaporate..

After I installed the product on land, it worked for about 30min to an hour but the sound was definately weaker than it should have been. All the wiring was disconnected and re-connected, thinking it was loose wiring. This did not solve the problem. The receiver wasn't able to turn on. The wiring was tested with a volt-meter and power was confirmed on both sides of the receivers fuses (product has 2 fuses). It seems as though the receiver had internal damage. It is an extremem pain in the a.. to go through the entire installation and then realize the product is faulty. Somehow confirm the receiver works before tearing your boat apart!

Installation was actually a breeze. Wiring up was also simple as everything to install, wire, and make ready to listen was included in this kit. Sound was really good and clear. Would definitely recommend this product to others, as it is an outstanding product. It truly blends in with the white console and the wireless remote works well when running on the water and you do not want to look down at the actually display. Outstanding product overall.
