The monitor works fine in our van. The picture quality isn't the greatest in the world, but for the price you can't expect HD quality. I wasn't really thinking when I bought this one that it doesn't have speakers built in, but that's my fault. Other than that, I haven't had any problems with it and it's survived our first vacation road trip.

I purchased 2 of the PYLE 9 inch monitors for a 2011 Dodge Durango.I am using the stock radio that plays DVD's, I just had to purchase a product called a LockPick that sent the video signal to the rear of the vehicle. The LockPick also unlocks the units ability to view DVD's while the car is in motion. I also used two aftermarket mounting brackets that attach to the headrest post. The active headrest feature in the new Durango prevents mounting the screens in the headrests themselves.

I am very satisfied with the monitors. One has a little bit sharper of a picture than the other, that may just be because of the splitting of the signal between the two, but over all I am very happy with this purchase. You can not beat the price or mounting options provided by PYLE. Most of all, my little girl is very happy with her new TV's in the car, and that's whose opinion matters most.

I recently gave this product a bad review because it did not appear to allow left/right & up/down image reversing. Since then, the manufacturer has contacted me and provided specific directions on how to perform these functions. With the new instructions I finally was able to perform the image reverses manually and with the provided remote control. I would give the product a 4 star rating if the instructions that came with it were more than "basic instruction" and more comprehensive.

"Recently I'd purchased Pyle 9" mobile TV model #PLHR96. I was to replace 7" Lilliput TV of six years. It's a good unit as far as the mounting and auto TV on feature. The remote was good looking and has nice install instructions. However; the picture quality was not what I expected. The line was terrible and can see all the pixle on the face. I will keep the unit and play with it for little while more. For the price can not beat, but quality picture wise, I don't think so...

I use it in the expedition, works great. It also has another input rca jack so i hook it up to my wireless camera recevier to look at secerity camaras all over town
