Not bad at all,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: PYLE PLVW1692R 16-Inch High Resolution Widescreen TFT Roof Mount LCD Monitor and IR Transmitter (Electronics)
I purchased the monitor for my family mini van. The monitor was refurbished but it looked brand new when I took it out of the box. I was particularly interested in it's ability to show wide screen movies, as that is what I typically purchase for the kids (not that there are many 4:3 movies available nowadays). The monitor is huge! And my kids love watching their favorite movies on long trips. The LCD can swivel side to side to enhance the viewing experience. Very easy to use - I had it installed professionally. I would have tore up the interior, had I done it myself. Not to mention that I had no clue about the cables required for installation. I was happy with the image - excuse me for not knowing much about electronics, but as a simple consumer, I felt this purchase was a good investment. I gave the sound a low rating because I don't think the tiny speakers would beat the sound of the car as it is moving. The person installing the monitor recommended a CD/DVD stereo system to control the movie menus and the viewing from the driver's seat (which can be very unsafe if you don't have a co-pilot). The stereo system allows the sound to come out via the car speakers and you will not have to rely on the speakers mounted in the monitor.
