Book Description

January 1996
On top of anxiety, depression, irritability and anger, there are more than 150 physical symptoms associated with PMS. These include fatigue, headaches, bloating, constipation, eating binges and joint pain. More than 40% of women suffer from PMS at some point in their lives, and for 98% of them, their fear is losing control. This book draws on the author's treatment programme for treating both the psychological and physical symptoms of PMS, and from the experiences of over 1000 women with PMS who entered the programme. Also included are diet, vitamins, exercise and hormome treatments, as well as sections on relaxation, cognitive interventions, stress reduction techniques, and the role of progesterone.
