I have had alot of power amps and powered mixers ect. over the years, and this has to be the biggest piece of junk I have seen! The features it seemed to offer sounds great, but when I got it out of the box and hooked it up, I could tell right away that this thing was junk! The fan didnt work most of the time and it heated up right away! The master volume knob had a short in it and the sound kept cutting out. The lesson here folks is dont let the cheap price lure you in! Stick with a quality name like Peavey!

I ordered this mixer because of the price. My band needed a mixer for practices and small shows but no one wanted to fork over the cash for a good one.

The mixer had 2 mics running through it while powering 2 80 watt cabinets.

The sound cut out after the third song of use. We pinpointed the problem to the speaker outputs. I tried 4 speaker cords with the same results; we'd get sound from it for a few songs and then it would cut out. If I twisted the cord a bit at the output jack, it would come back on again. Needless to say I returned it.

I don't know if this is a common problem or I just got a dud mixer but, in the end, I spent a little more money and got a used mixer from a company I trust(Yamaha).

Wanted a small portable mixer for very small venues. Used it twice. Was using it just for background music. Volume was very low and it still burned up. No wonder it's so cheap.

This amp is, of course, an import just like most everything, but this one seemed exceptionally low quality. I don't expect perfection in an inexpensive product like this one, but I do think it could be much, much better than it is. The first time I plugged it in, we heard all kinds of strange "pops and cracks" and other strange noises. I thought my mic cords were bad, but then I plugged in a new mic and cord and the same thing happened. Three days later, we tried to use it to play our music and sing thru, but it made the same noises and even quit completely. After turning it off then back on, it worked, but had the same awful noises. The USB thumb drive would not work the way the manual stated. The manual is a bad translation from Chinese into English which makes it difficult to almost impossible to use. You can download the manual from Amazon.com and read for yourself. I returned the amplifier within one week of purchase.

From a vocalist perspective, this is ideal for an economic solution to sound for the small practice space or gig. With a couple 2-way 12" PA speakers, you can mix well enough with the band to be heard. The only thing I'm missing really with this purchase is monitor inputs. I still find myself walking to a good spot in the room during practice to hear myself well.

The mixer works great when the fan is working but it tends to get hot and the sound cuts out. I have had to manually start the fan to get it to run sometimes. The sound quality is great when it works properly. For the most part, its a great amp for the price.

Im not sure if it's a coincidence that I ordered this during the hurricane, but every time I turned it on it smelled like it had been waterlogged, although there was no evidence of this on any of the packaging or unit itself. It worked great for about 2 weeks but as soon as I tried taking it to band practice, it started feeding back badly when we plugged a mic in and then cut out. It has been unreliable ever since. The seller was unhelpful as well. If I want to return it, I have to pay the shipping costs. And that's just for a return, not a replacement. (I wasn't even given the option) in summary, i don't know If it was just my unit or a problem that plagues the lot, but unfortunately I got a bad one. The features seemed great, and the power was satisfactory. Which is why I bought it. Too bad it came back to bite me in the ass.

Well, right out of the box we realized that the number for channel did not work at all. But, since we only had two days before our tent revival we had no choice but to use it. We had borrowed a set of Peavey 400 watt PA speakers, and we were set up right beside a busy highway. The sound quality for the value overall was good, even behind these 400w PA speakers, and passing traffic. never had any overheating issues as others have claimed.
Overall, I would say it was good buy for the money. Only had that one issue. I sent back, and I'm going to get the 1000w Pyle Pro version. Reason being, we need more power to push these speakers to their best performance. "P.S. The FX worked well on ours."
