Not much for aesthetics but very durable in my experience. I left this in my pants pocket. It went through the washer and dryer (on hot) and survived. All of the data on the drive is still accessible. Scanned the drive, no bad sectors. Thumbs up from me.

Formatted on your PC it works out to about 14 gigs but that is still plenty of storage for quick carriage of your favorite data or MP3 files.

I bought one of these about a year ago and it is still working perfectly. The outer shell of my last flash drive fell apart at the seams, so I am pleased I have not had a similar experience here. This drive has always been a little bulkier than I would have liked, and the removable cap is less convenient than the flip out kind. Plus the cap cannot be placed on the rear of the drive when the drive is on a key chain. The major selling point of this drive is sturdiness, the case is thick and resists crushing, and the cap actually protects the USB terminals, unlike many models.

Buy this drive if you want a drive that will reliably store your data without breaking in half in your pocket, but not if you want the fanciest features in the smallest package.

This is a very good flash drive as I have used it to download all my pictures on my computer as an emergency back up. It also downloads the data faster than other flash drives that I have used in the past.

I bought the PNY 16gb thinking it would be just another flashdrive. Simply does not work with my dell. I have tried several times to simply copy files to it and it freezes up. waste of time and money.

The order came very quickly. The PNY flash drive works as it was designed.

The only reason I bought this thumb drive is to use with my Xbox 360. It works great for additional storage. I loaded Splinter Cell Conviction on it and played with any problems.

The only way this product could be any better is if hey somehow added more memory or a led light but both are unnecessary. Very sturdy not super slim like some new technology but it is 16 gb I use this for extra memory for my xbox 360 and it works great.

Can't comment on the technical aspects of this, because I'm technically illiterate. I'm going on 70, but even this old dog can learn a new trick. Thanks to my son for introducing me to the "thumb drive." Now I can get rid of all those old CD's. The thumb drive is easy to use, and I love that I can store years of photographs on such a tiny piece of equipment.

I needed something that would migrate between different OS and computers with ease and this one was one of the few that I could find that would accomodate Windows 7 62-bit as well as Windows XP.

The unit itself is quite sturdy -- my ScanDisks are much flimsier. The end cap fits tightly and I can still attach it to the other end over the tether string. So far so good.

But loading this was SLOW. I set up several Briefcases and although total data was less than 4 gigs (and no file was particularly large), it took about an hour. I think that's pretty excessive.

However, using it to access the files that I loaded seems to be at a relatively acceptable speed. In other words, I wouldn't complain about it.

If the slow loading is its only drawback, then I can live with that. Presumably, syncing should be less time consuming (as I don't typically change that many files between syncs). I've had good success with this brand before, so hope that this will last for years and provide consistent service.
