The 16GB Mini Attache was an impulse buy for me. My old SanDisk 4GB finally died (after a chance encounter in-between my laptop and a chair) so I knew I needed a new one. I had only used SanDisk up until this point, but when I saw the Mini Attache was the same price for the 16GB and was smaller and sleeker, I decided to go with it. It performs beautifully, with great speeds (Vista ReadyBoost capable, something my 4 GB SanDisk was not) and the 16GB drive has so much storage capacity I can't imagine needing another one for quite some time.
It does not come with the U3 software that the popular SanDisk Cruzer does, however most of the people I know delete that immediately anyway. I was actually a fan of the software, using it to carry Firefox with me wherever I went. However, I have found that the PortableApps platform has been just as easy to use and just as fast and convenient (if not moreso) than U3, so if you are a fan of U3, no worries, PortableApps is freeware and easy to obtain online.
Overall I would highly recommend this drive. Don't be fooled by some of the mediocre reviews of the old capped Attache drives, this is an altogether different piece of hardware, and well worth your money.
