The heat sink has been designed to provide superior heat extraction for enhanced reliability and endurance under the high-stress conditions that enthusiasts and overclockers subject their systems to. All XLR8â¿¢ models have passed the NVIDIAÂ SLIâ¿¢-Ready certification process in PNYâ¿¿s new internal SLI testing lab, established in partnership with NVIDIA. The NVIDIA SLI certification process puts each module through a rigorous set of diagnostic tests including benchmarking, continuous burn-in, and SLI motherboard and graphics card interoperability. Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) are programmed into these modules to provide high performance settings with simplified installation and configuration. NVIDIA SLI certified motherboards that are compatible with EPP can automatically use faster memory timings when the EPP feature of the motherboard is enabled.
