A great price for a great little 2gb drive. I lost mine the other night and sure enough, found it in the dryer. It went through the laundry and not only works, but all the files were intact.

I'm not a fan of the old clunky PNY USB drives; however, I love this drive. First of all, it is small. It's slim profile allows it to be inserted in any USB slots I've seen (even the recessed ones on many Dell computers). The best feature of the drive is the swivel cover. There is no cap to lose, and no problem of the connector retracting when pushing it in (like some Sandisk drives). The swivel cover locks closed and in the 180 degree position. There is no U3 software, but I didn't want it because I wanted to use it as a simple drive and need to use it with Windows 98 (need to download driver at PNY website). My only disappointment is that the activity light is very small and placed on the face of the drive (so if that side is facing away when inserted in a computer, you can't see the light when it flashes). The drive comes with a lanyard you can attach to the drive so you can wear it around your neck if you so choose.

I am completely satisfied with the PNY 4GB memory stick. No stupid software to deal with like so many of the others. It's just memory, thank goodness. Only thing that would make it better would be if it came with a lanyard.

I like PNY. They generally make good stuff. This flash drive is fast on data transfer. But the plastic cover fell apart after about a month, and I now carry it on my key chain uncovered, filling up with lint from my pocket. I expect it to be only a matter of time before the plastic hook that connects to the key chain breaks as well, at which time I'll add it to my collection of orphan flash drives.

Good technology, crappy case.

First of all, let's educate ourselves. Flash drives are indeed electronic devices and must be treated as such. Just because it has a place to put in on your key chain, DON'T!!!!! Your key chains go everywhere & bang up against everything so you're asking for your drive to break if you put it on a key chain. Since USB flash drives are made for a computer, I keep mine by my computer. People complain about it breaking or cracking. These are NOT TOYS! It's made for the computer so keep it with your computer. You wouldn't knock around your laptop so don't knock around any object that connects to your laptop. DUH! Guess what, if you leave it with your computer like you are suppose to, it won't ever break. With that being said, it's great. I actually paid $20 for mine. I like the swivel because it keeps the USB out of the way because it's the most important part and must be protected. Also, the swivel means I can even keep it bent out of the way so nobody will bump into when they walk too close to the CPU and the USB port. The fact that this is mini is so convenient. I can slip it in my pocket if I'm leaving and will be using another computer outside my home. It's incredibly portable. It's got a ton of space on it. And I got free downloads from National Geographic just for buying it.

Bought this item because of three things.
1. Price
2. Keychain
3. Swivel

What I do not like about it:
1. Cheap cheap cheap plastic

This product now falls into two pieces regularly (the circuit board and the plastic in two pieces...still functional but... not really.

After using this great little drive for transfer purposes (I also bought the faster XLR8 drive for video) I could not be happier. Both are made by PNY and I would never buy another brand, period. Great build, great price, no top to lose, and none of the problems I had with a different brand in the past. PNY Products Rock!

For the price it is one of the cheapest 2gb flash drives out there, but the good news ends there. I have had mine for less than 4 months and it's already coming apart. The plastic case has separated and the circuit board inside is loose as is the metal USB adapter. All in all storage has been no problem, but if the device doesn't last I don't consider it a bargain at any price. I bought a Sandisk Cruzer and am much happier with the build quality.

This USB flash drive works, but it is made of cheap plastic and is not robust. It would not last long if it were attached to a key chain containing other keys. It is not for carrying in your pocket. This device needs to be handled with care as it breaks easily.

A great flash drive for a low price. No cap to lose. I do worry about durability of the plastic case. Mine started to split apart, but a light coating of superglue around the seam seems to have taken care of the issue. It seems to be taking the abuse of residing on my keychain quite well. Easily accessible memory at a good price when you need it. No complaints.
