5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best!!!, April 15, 2002
This review is from: PNY Verto GeForce4 Titanium 128MB DDR Ti4400 AGP (Personal Computers)
I was luckily able to buy this card after receiving a gift certificate for my birthday back in Jan. I am extremely happy I waited to use it because I am far from disappointed in this card!!! Quite simply, it screams!!! I can run Jedi Knight II at full resolution, with everything max-ed out, without a problem. Part of this is also due to the fact that I recently upgraded my five year old computer - which amounted to pratically a full rebuild. Still, I am glad I waited for this card because it makes my computer fly and it makes the games that much more exciting and immersive. If you can afford this card, get it!! Also, PNY has a full lifetime hardware warranty so if it [goes] out on you ever, you can get it replaced. Spend the money on this now and you won't have to upgrade your graphics for at least 3 years.

For those of you who can't afford this, wait for the comparable Ti 4200 - slated for release at the end of April 2002. It will be well worth the money.

2.0 out of 5 stars THIS CARD IS BEING REPLACED, July 22, 2002
This review is from: PNY Verto GeForce4 Titanium 128MB DDR Ti4400 AGP (Personal Computers)
I bought my new computer with this card a little more than 3 months ago. Things started well until recently that my Windows XP became unstable, often restarting itself. The error message said that the card may cause this problem and asked me to download the latest driver. After I did that, the problem became worse and, my computer screen became funny with colorful dots all over the place. Finally, I called the tech support from the computer manufacture and was told that other users had experieced the similar problem. I was then instructed to uninstall the card from my computer and sent it back for a replacement. Now I am waiting for it to arrive.

5.0 out of 5 stars There is nothing wrong with this card, March 7, 2003
This review is from: PNY Verto GeForce4 Titanium 128MB DDR Ti4400 AGP (Personal Computers)
I love how people blame a card instead of their old outdated computers. I have XP, the card installed perfectly, on a clean install and on a upgrade install. There were no problems. If you install in non certified drivers, of course here are going to be poblems. I can play Unreal 2 with this card at 1600X1200 with 4X FSAA with norton system work running in the background. It is a grat card if you are a power user, and it isn't too loud. The only card that I think is better is the ATI RADEON 9700 PRO.
If you want a good card but are not willing to pay the near [money] for a GeForce FX get this one and you will be set for some time
