I have never had one issue with this card, EVER.

The other thing that is great about this card is the construction quality- I have never felt a more sturdy graphics card- and it looks great.
Luis M. Fuentes
I absolutely love my graphics now and can play all of my games at ultra mite setting with smooth 60 fps.

HOLD ON THERE STRANGER- you may be asking yourself, why is this card a little cheaper than the other stock cards by EVGA, MSI and such? Well, I don't know. All I know to tell you is that if you are looking at any other graphics card that looks the SAME as this one, it is because this is the reference "stock" card NVIDIA built and it is the same regardless of manufacturer.

What isn't the same is warranty. PNY is an American company and they offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on this sucker. It's easy to register on their site too. QUICK TIP FOR REGISTERING YOUR CARD: Do it before you put it in your case OR take a pic with your phone/write down the serial number on the actual back of the card. Also, if you run into problems while registering and it tells you that isn't a serial number or whatever- You have to put the letter "P" in front of the serial. This will register it.

Now- on to the review part.

I love this card. I upgraded from a Gigabyte 670GTX (with the OC cooling). That card was great and was super cool under a full load (hardly ever broke 65c). Now, I know some of you are snickering out there asking why I would upgrade from a 670GTX to a 780- even more so for 1080p gaming- yeah it's true. It's kind of a waste- but I wanted to be sure I could run AAA games for the next few years at max settings. My intention was to go SLI- but after doing the math and after selling my 670 I was able to get this card for about $60 more than it would have cost me to go SLI and get a better cooling solution.

Now onto the card itself- the first thing I noticed was temp. Temps reached up to 80c when gaming but this is normal with the default cooling profile and within it's use parameters. Nothing bad there- but still hotter than I would like.

Just picked up the new GTX 780 by PNY, and I have to say it now stands atop my rankings of best graphics cards ever. If you thought the 680's were something to be reckoned with, just wait until you pop in one of these beasts. Very nice form factor and design, whisper quiet, and excellent power consumption. Performance has been stellar. For example, I was getting 60-80 fps on Bioshock Infinite with my 680. I'm now getting anywhere from 120-170 fps with the 780. And there is no comparison to my old GTX 580. It's simply astonishing. Crysis 1, 2, and 3 all run incredibly smooth at 1920x1200 and at the highest settings. All my DX11 games look and run beautifully. Core i7 3770k, 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz, Win7 64bit, Corsair 850wt PSU, Asus P8 Z77-V LX, Kingston 120gb SSD, WD 1TB Caviar Blck HDD, Corsair H60 hydro CPU cooler, Asus DVD drive.

I love this card but I did go through 2 cards with faulty fans before I got one that was working fine.

1st card I got, the fan was stuck at 100% and sounded like a jet engine on first boot. I tried everything and couldn't control the fan. Seems like this was not a common issue so I suspected that it was hardware related. Second card, doesn't sound like a jet engine on first boot. I'm thinking, this is a great sign. Start up Crysis 3, the video card starts rattling. It sounded like the ball bearing was loose and it make a very rough sound. Sent back to Amazon. Finally the 3rd card I got was perfect. Fan wasn't stuck at 100%, fan worked perfectly. I could control it with MSI afterburner, and now I have had it for about a month. It's everything I could want from a graphics card. Runs games at 2560X1600 very well. Highly recommend this card, I just think I got some from a bad batch.

Fantastic..no other words to refer to the card so far. Performance wise, there's no way I could happier. A tiny overclock and I'm already over Titan's performance. Really good.

The only complain I have is the PNY registering process (to retrieve the lifetime warranty). The serial number requested for the process to be completed in on the bottom of the card itself, and only there! Result: I had to tun off the PC, remove the card, read the serial number, insert the card, boot the PC just to complete the registration process. I know I should have checked the serial before installing the card but having it printed somewhere else would be great.

Anyway, 5 out of 5 to me. Perfect.

Cheaper than most of the GTX 780 out there. If not the cheapest.
Faster than most. If not the fastest.
Lifetime warranty when registered.
Works better than I expected.
What's not to like?

Absolutely a non-stoppable solution to true PC gaming. Easy to install, easy to maintain with the Nvidia software. Buy it. You will not be sorry! Make sure your PC has a capable power supply. Thanks for making "one fabulous card" PNY. Cheers!

A couple weeks after release, all the more known brands, evga etc, were already sold out. So it became a choice between a galaxy 780 or this one. I chose this one solely because of the lifetime warranty. How do you beat a lifetime warranty? You can't. A month later, I'm pleased to also say that my computer is running smoothly with no graphical hiccups. I would definitely recommend the PNY GTX 780.

I didn't buy this card on Amazon, I bought it at a local computer store. I came from an AMD 7970. WOW what a difference. That card was horrible. I built a budget gaming PC last year and that card was $450 and I thought I was getting exactly what I needed...I was sooo wrong. AMD is notorious for bad drivers, micro stuttering, etc... I had all of these issues from the moment I took it out of the box. I finally decided to build a new PC this year with no budget and after many hours of careful review, I decided on the GTX780. I am SO happy with my choice. I have never had one issue with this card, EVER. It plays every game I own, (and I've got about 30 or 40 now) on the highest settings without a single stutter or glitch. I also got a Shield a few days later and laying in bed playing any PC game I want is freeking awesome. What IS really, really stupid though is I unwittingly bought this card 1.5 months before the $150 price drop...and you know what? I don't even care. I just got done walking around in Skyrim, and even though I've logged over 120+ hrs using the horrible AMD card, it all seems new to me. I swear it's like putting glasses on for the first time. Everything is crystal clear and buttery smooth @ 1080p, ultra settings. With the 7970, I had to launch Skyrim in windowed mode and then use a program called simple borderless window? along with SKSE just to make it where the whole game wouldn't have stutters in it! And I put up with stuff like that for over a year! I hate AMD now and I don't care if they come out with something that is 4x the Titan for $99...I will NEVER be tricked by AMD ever again. Nvidia is hands down the graphics card leader and I am so happy that I bought this little beast of a card...even if I took a $150 hit right on the nose. Bottom line...Read more ›
