A fair but short review...,

Bought the iClooly, Touch Tec, and Pogo Sketch to use with my iPad. After all the mixed reviews I decided that I would just get all three and help other people out with their selection.
This is the utilitarian approach out of the three options. The construction is somewhat cheap but it is not SHODDY like the Touch Tec pen. This thing registers perfectly when held at a typical angle that you would use to write with a pen. The Touch Tec pen had to be held completely perpendicular to the touch screen so this one completely blows it out of the water. The main thing holding this back from getting 5 stars is that it could have at least included a cover for the writing tip. I am somewhat worried as to how long it will last by putting it into my computer bag. So 4 stars for this one, 1 star for the Touch Tec, and 3 stars for the iClooly...

I use it a lot on my iPad and iPhone. Great for taking notes on the iPad using Note Taker. My only gripe is its construction. The clip broke off within the first week of owning it. At the cost of $15.00 it should be indestructible.

Decent Pen for the ipad,

As a pen for the iPad, it gets the job done. But it's not perfect, since it sometimes doesn't respond well to it. I would definitely recommend this to someone who plans to use it for tablet apps like penultimate.

This item comes up pretty much first on every iPad stylus search. I have no idea why, but probably due to a heavy marketing compain, because the quality of this item is crap.
First, the tip is foam. Not a huge issue on its own, except that it constantly looses it shape, and when it goes flat it stops working well. Also, you have to hold the stylus almost perpendicular to the surface to get it to work. My natural writing poster is not that of a 1 year with a crayon, so I find this very uncomfortable. Second, the top is made of plastic. This wouldn't be such an issue, except that there is no other way to secure the stylus to an iPad except by using the plastic grip. What this means is that inside of a week, unless you have taped the stylus to the iPad it will be broken. My stylus broken inside a week, but my friends had their broken in shipping. Third, the stylus is too small for a good hold. It is both too thin and too short to hold comfortably for long periods of time, but that is mostly due to how you have to hold to make it work. But if it were longer and slightly thicker it would be better. The boxway stylus is much better. Its grip is meta, but it also comes is a connector that fits in the headphone jack. The tip is rubber and works pretty much at any angle. And it feels better in the hand. Buy it instead. BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus (Jet Black)

I normally don't write reviews unless I feel a product is being misrepresented by other reviews, or a need to warn other consumers. I bought a simpler style pogo stylus for my iPod touch not too long ago. It has a flat tip. It works fine (although I'm not crazy about the 'foam' tips). I can type faster with it, and pick things out better (I have thick fingers). I am also an artist, and actually bought a sketching program for my iPod. But the other stylus is way too imprecise for drawing. This stylus is supposed to be specifically for sketching. It has a somewhat tapered foam tip for finer precision. It doesn't even *work*! I have to press so hard on it to even get it to do anything on the iPod that it totally defeats the purpose of this stylus. If you want a cheap stylus for better precision, get one of the other half dozen Pogo stylus' that are cheaper. If you want to sketch on your iPod, I'd suggest you find something better.

I was slightly disappointed, but it does work much better than the other stylus I purchased. It shines for artwork, but for note-taking, it compares to most of the others.

When I bought the Pogo Sketch last April with my iPad, it was much hyped and even pushed by the people in the Apple store. And at the time, it seemed to be the best one available. I've gotten some use out of the Pogo Stylus since I bought it, but as time has gone on there are two of its features that have just gotten annoying:
1) The amount of pressure needed to register the tip is such that it's not at all fluid or consistent. After prolonged sketching, my hand aches. 2) The floppy, spongy tip, which has only gotten floppier and spongier over time. The tip is pretty bad now, such that I can't place the tip on the screen with much accuracy -- really annoying when you're drawing and want to, say, trace over a line on a different layer or draw anything with precision and accuracy. For these reasons, I'm currently shopping around for a different, better stylus than the Pogo Sketch.

Works effectively on my iPad. There is a delay compared to actualy touch but it is much easier to use esp when using apps and not typing.

In general, it does what it should, but it requires too much pressure to register. I was hoping for something like the action of a pen on paper, but it's like I have to stab the surface to get it to work consistently.

A lot of money for a simple stylus, but it does work great on my ipad. Hope the foam tip stands up long enough to get my money's worth.Too bad the tip wasn't made to be replacable when worn out or damaged. It does work as advertised, and a must have for doing art work.
