Disappointed Reader,

This review is from: THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF WORLD ENERGY: An Introductory Textbook (World Scientific Series on Energy and Resource Economics) (Paperback)
This is simply an incredibly awful book. His style of writing, at least for this book, is a stream of consciousness riddled with opinion not substantiated by the preceding text itself. Don't waste your time with this. If you want a book on oil and geopolitics, read something by Klare.

This review is from: THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF WORLD ENERGY: An Introductory Textbook (World Scientific Series on Energy and Resource Economics) (Paperback)
The book is used in our Economics Energy class. The author is very opinionated person but he has a very good point about the topic. He disagrees with the electric deregulation as he supports it with the failure in California deregulation. He also discusses about the nuclear energy potential and supports "The Hubbert Peak Oil Theory". This is a good book to give you an insight of global energy supplied in the future due to the increased in standard living especially in China and India.
