POLLY POCKET SPARKLE STYLE HOUSE

I recently purchased this Fashion Polly set, along with the Stylin' Stage, Shani Jewel Locker, and Day to Night Rick sets for my daughter who will turn 4 in February. However, if you only get one set, start with the Sparkle Style House. These dolls are a SUPER alternative to Barbie, which my daughter never played with much, and much less expensive, since they come complete with lots of clothing and accessories. She plays with her Fashion Polly sets everyday, and they keep her occupied for long periods of time. I think what makes these doll sets so appealing to my daughter is the the glitter and sticker supplies used to decorate the clothing and accessories. However, if you do purchase these sets for a child under five, you might benefit from these tips:
1. The clothing is a little hard to put on, but this problem is easy to fix. The dresses and shirts are slit halfway down the back, but if you extend the slit all the way down the back it makes all the differnce. If the pants or shorts are a little hard to put on make a small slit on the front, back and each side.
2. Use a tackle box to store all the pieces. Put all the dolls in one slot, the shirts in another, the bottoms in another, the shoes in another, etc.
3. Buy a few glitter glue pens. Your little one can use these to decorate the clothing and accessories as well, and they are fairly mess-free. It washes right off the little pieces with soap and water, so your little one can decorate the pieces over and over again!

i just got this new item and i love it.i think this is the coolest polly pocket item out.im 12 and i still like to play with polly pocket.their really fun to play with.all ages could play with it.

This little house is well worth the price. My daughter (who has
way too many toys) has been busy playing with nothing else. 24hrs & still busy with Polly! Cute little house. Be careful clothes can be torn easily. Still worth it. Great for the Barbie girl who needs a change.

This toy is great, and I piece that I have been waiting for, for a very long time. as a big fan of the fashion polly pockets, I have insured that every one is in my toy cupboard! (I prefer the ones with plastic heads though!) as i have so many polly pockets, i have longed for a house for them to live in so I can play 'house'as well as 'hairdressers', 'pet stores', and 'shopping malls' with my dolls. I would recomend this to any child/collecter who feels their set is incomplete at the moment, or if you only intend on buying a few or just one doll. The house will still insure you have hours of sparkling fun!

My daughter pined for this house and was thrilled to finally get it. I was amazed at the different ways it could be played with - like actually having covers for the pillows as if they were tiny shams! Since she has a large Polly collection, she also loves the ability to customize the clothing herself and be the "designer" of her Polly doll's latest fashions.<

My ten year old is a Polly Pocket fan. She pick out and purchased this toy with her own money and plays with it almost everyday. I love the fact that it closes up with all of its parts inside and can be easily carried around. I was quite surprised that the sparkles did not get all over the place. I feel that this is a great toy.

My daughter is 9 and she bought this with some of her birthday money. She loves it and all the fashion Polly stuff. It's very durable and even withstands her 4 year old sister. A must have.

This toy is my daughter's favorite Christmas present - she plays with it for hours. She loves having a house for her Polly's. The glitter and glue are messy so they've disappeared - it does work, but the glitter box leaks glitter everywhere - if you want to use it have an easily cleaned surface.

My daughter is 4 and a big fan of Polly! I am not ready for her to get into the world of Barbie yet and this is the perfect alternative. I believe the imagination she and her friends have when they are engrossed in their play is wonderfully educational. I am also a first grade teacher and see the benefits of imaginative play. The accessories that come with Polly just make it more fun to pretend. I do recommend a large box with a lid that closes tight to keep the small pieces from getting lost. I highly recommend this toy to keep their little imaginations soaring!!

We got this toy for our daughter's birthday. The concept here is to apply glue to the rubber clothes and put them in the special box where a fan blows glitter on them...thus customizing the plain clothing. We found that the toy didn't work this way at all. The glue dispenser was awkward to use, making the glue hard to apply. The glitter process was also a disappointment. The fan isn't strong enough to blow glitter all around the clothing so it clumps instead of spreading evenly. We let the clothes dry for over two days but all the glitter fell off as soon as we tried to play with it. It left a HUGE mess everywhere and caused my daughter much frustration.

Glittering aside, the house itself isn't much fun. The pieces are too small to actually play with (even for little fingers), and the clothes are flimsy, hard to handle, and rip easily. My daughter has hardly played with it at all. We could have spent our money more wisely.
