Best CD by Kid Rock and very unfair that more can't acquire,

This CD is one of the best CDs I've ever heard-it is real Kid Rock. I think it is quite unfair that people cannot find this CD in any music store. Can he not re-release it because of some reason? Well, since I've had to pay soooo much for the CD, I am actually AFRAID to listen to it because it could be scratched or something. I am pleading for the re-release, but who to contact? Could we start a petition? :o)

The recent rush to be a part of the new synthesis of Rock and Rap is perhaps six years tardy. In truth rock and rap have always had a symbiotic relationship, rap carried on the torch of rebellion that Rock lost when it succombed to disco. In exchange, rappers pilfered the musicianship and pop song format that rockers and motown artists created long ago. Run DMC uses guitars liberally, Ice-T loves Led Zepplin, et cetera. In 1993, not 1999, Rock and Rap were fused together in their most raw and pure forms on the appropriately titled Polyfuze Method. Kid Rock's disdain for all things authoritative and mainstream are values which are at the pinnacle of both early rap and Rock and roll. The influence of rock, rap, country, heavy metal(Which is not true rock and roll) are evident, but not emphasized. Instead, Rock created his own sound, replete with sampled loops, original licks, and lyrics that Eminem must have listened to since birth. In short, this album IS rock and rap, it is A white bboy rapping without exploiting his race, his musical background, or the listening public. This is pop-art, rude, raw and raunchy, but art. Get it.

If you're only familiar with DWAC, then you're in for a little surprise. This is REAL Kid Rock. The best CD Rock has out. Rap and rock mixed perfectly. 3 sheets to the wind is epic.

This maybe Bob's most creative work by far. Dont get me wrong, Devil without a Cause is, but this is no doubt his next best one. Songs that just are too good to pass up are:"Killing Brain Cells", "Prodigal Son", "3 Sheets to the Wind", "Back From the Dead", Desperado, "Balls in Your Mouth", and "you dont know me". As you can see this album is worth it.

I just started getting into Kid Rock and got a hold of this album. It is probably one of my favourite albums of his. I can hear the genesis of Cowboy and Bawitdaba definitely, among other now classics. His energy is amazing on all his albums, but this album has an interesting energy - still young, still shocking. This is a rap/rock record, his voice is till a bit thin, and the sound is not as nice as his later albums, but it is raw and almost like a live album in some ways. There is a touch of country in one of the songs, just a tad, where one can see where he is going to go in the future. Some of the lyrics are very very dirty, and one song in particular worries me a bit because I definitely do not like the imagery ( I'm going to F you blind) although I like the music itself and I am glad he has pretty much left that behind. I instantly listened to Rock and Roll Jesus after this album and it makes Rock and Roll Jesus feel mainstream. Worth a listen to. One star off for that one song I already mentioned which I think is sickening. If you like Kid Rock, you need this one to get a feel for his early years.

I just started collecting Kid Rock's music after I saw him on the VH1 Storytellers clip. Besides having a beautiful voice, he keeps the music real. He states he has not sold out yet, which is probably why he has so many followers. If you read any of his articles when he was younger you'll see he always knew he would be a music artist. This CD, The Polyfuze Method is excellent. If you are a true Kid Rock fan you will enjoy listening to his earlier works. Three the songs have carried over into later CDs which shows the depth of his talent at such a young age because the music has staying power. While this CD was pricey, I am very happy to have it since it is no longer in production once he left Jive Records for Atlantic Records. Kid Rock is nominated with MTV EMAs in Germany for Best World Stage Performance. Kid Rock gives an all out performance on stage and it is a real high in itself just to see him live. I listen to Kid Rock everyday.

This was Kid Rock's second CD, and a major upgrade from his first one. I liked his first CD, but this one is a lot better. He kind of sounded like Esham in this one.

THE SONGS WERE PRETTY COOL.I GOT THIS RECORDED ON A TAPE BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND THE CD ANYWHERE.I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND PAYIN' A FORTUNE FOR IT. THE BEST 2 SONGS WERE "3 SHEETS TO THE WIND" AND "BALLS IN YOUR MOUTH"."3 SHEETS TO THE WIND" WAS THE MOST CREATIVE SONG I THOUGHT."BALLS IN YOUR MOUTH" WAS VERY FUNNY". DEVIL WITHOUT A CAUSE WAS BETTER BECAUSE HE HAD MORE MONEY AND IT WAS MIXED A LOT BETTER. IF HE RE-RELEASES I HOPE HE DECIDES TO RE-MIX IT. TWISTED BROWN TRUCKER IS A LOT BETTER BAND THAN THE ONE HE HAD ON THIS ALBUM.HIS VOICE WAS TO HOLLOW ON THIS CD.I GAVE IT 4 STARS BECAUSE THE K-I-D IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE.KID ROCK IS A LYRICAL GENIUS.THE LYRICS ON THIS ALBUM WEREN'T THE CLEANEST SO IF YOU ARE A KID YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET YOUR PARENTS WORD BEFORE YOU BY IT.THAT IS MY OPINION ON KID ROCK'S LP "THE POLYFUZE METHOD".
