The PC18RS features a variable-speed trigger that delivers a cut speed of up to 3,000 strokes per minute (SPM) for fast, aggressive cuts with a wide array of materials. Because of its small size, the reciprocating saw can be maneuvered in tight spaces for greater versatility when compared with larger, unwieldy saws. The saw also features a pivoting shoe that offers added control in complex cuts.
Smart, Efficient Design
A patented tool-free blade-changing system allows you to quickly remove and change blades. No more wrestling with blades and looking for small bits and keys--simply change and go. The PC18RS comes with an oversized rubber boot and grip for comfort and safety.
Convenient Cordless Operation
Thanks to the cordless design, you can work on the job site safely and efficiently. And as part of the Porter-Cable Tradesman cordless line of tools, the PC18RS reciprocating saw uses an 18-volt battery that can be used interchangeably between other tools in the line. You can choose from either a nickel-cadmium or lithium-ion battery. Both types of batteries, and their respective chargers, are sold separately.
