A Great, Versatile CD!, January 8, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: PORTRAITS (Audio CD)
Have almost worn this CD out, from playing it alot! We especially love Bob's version of "Jesse, Come Home," which is sung beautifully and arranged in a haunting way, that really gets under your skin! Also love, "Stormy Weather," which is arranged in a new refreshing manner, and 'Riverbend," a catchy original. Highly recommended easy-listening disc! Keith

A vocal treat of familiar and refreshing new material!, December 20, 1999
This review is from: PORTRAITS (Audio CD)
Bob Rowe's voice is beautifully matched with the arangements and fine material on this disc, including familiar jazz standards, such as "Stormy Weather," "Sunny Side Of The Street," and a hauntingly beautiful version of "Autumn Leaves!" I also enjoyed his original "New Age," piece, "Riverbend," and the unusual version of "The Minstral Boy" and many others. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fine singer and wonderful songs!
