I got this screen protector for my new Vizio VTAB1008 because the Vizio tablet has a shiny, reflective screen that shows off fingerprints as though it's a CSI tool. Although I am not generally worried about screen scratches, I know that even glass can scratch and this will protect against those scratches as well.

The screen protector applied fairly easily. POSRUS provided good instructions. One does have to take care to read the instructions carefully before installation. For my part, I used a lens wipe to clean the screen before using the included microfiber wipe.

Aside; DO NOT use any kind of window cleaner to clean your tablet screen! Never, ever! You have been warned.

I lined up the protector to the Vizio tablet's camera in the top-center of the screen. That was a mistake in my opinion, though not one which caused a serious problem. The protector is just a tiny bit off at the bottom which I don't think it would have been otherwise. I would recommend paying closer attention to centering the protector at both top corners rather then the camera. The camera isn't going anywhere.

How well does the screen work? Well, I have not felt the need to wipe any finger prints off my screen since I put it put the protector on. And the protector has not, as far as I can tell, inhibited the sensitivity of the screen in the least. I've been able to do everything I could before the protector was applied. The display is only a smidgen less crisp than it was originally. Not having every light source reflected and fingerprint CSI-enhanced completely makes up, and more, for the slight decrease in clarity.

I can recommend this product without hesitation.

I love my Vizio Tablet but hated the screen glare & all the fingerprints. I've used screen protectors before & had bad luck with them. This one works awsome. I followed the detailed instructions exactly & had little problems applying it. I cleaned the screen thoroughly with the cloth that came with the tablet & the one that came with the protector & had very little problems with air bubbles. I applied it a little off center the first time but didn't have a problem realigning it. It definitely takes care of the glare & the fingerprint problems without hampering the resolution of the screen or interfearing with the sensitivity of the touch screen. I thought the shipping was a little high but it shipped the same day I purchased it & I received it within 2 days from NY to OR. All in all a great product.

This screen protector is perfect for the vizio tablet. You can tell they custom made it for the vizio's unique shape. The instructions provided are very detailed and they really want to make you aware of everything that can go wrong, so you don't make those mistakes. This screen protector does Not need to be dunked in any water before application, but goes on after you peel it off of another layer.
Following instructions, application was easy, except for make sure you are in a dust free environment, as dust particles under the screen protector will make a big ugly spot.
The original screen of the tablet attracts fingerprints like no other, but with the screen protector on, I have not had to wipe any fingerprints off. Also, glare is greatly reduced.
This screen protector was well worth my money.

I love that it's a matte finish. Not sure the sake of being "non-glare", but that it makes the screen nice and silky for the touch controls. My fingers now glide across the surface!

I love this on my Vizio tab, it does cut down on fingerprints and provided antiglare screen protection wihtout interferring with the touch screen

The antiglare works very good, no more fingerprints on the screen. I can read the tablet in any light including flashlight. This is a good idea for anyone who has the Vizio Tablet.

Pros: Good price, perfect fit, cutout for front facing camera, easy to apply, NO FINGERPRINTS!!,

Cons: The matte finish that eliminates fingerprints also reduces the clarity of the display

Overall, this is a good, well-priced screen protector for the VTAB. Though fingerprint resistance would drop, if I could change one thing, I would change the matte finish to a gloss so that display clarity could be maintained.

These screen protectors are an outstanding value! I have used a few in my time but these added a lot to my tablet. I liked the texture; not invasive but definitely an addition in ensure finger commands are read properly.

The only drawback to the Vizio tablet is the screen, like all but the kindle, are high gloss and in daylight can create glare.

These screens solve that problem while protecting the screen very well...

Applying them was absolutely no problem (I used the plural term because we have two tablets)and they were perfectly cut to accommodate the camera hole as well.

I ordered this screen protector for a tablet I purchased for my son. It is exactly what is needed to prevent damage to the screen. Installation is straight forward, although I would suggest you do it in the most dust free environment possible. I installed it sitting at my kitchen table. I had cleaned the surface of the screen and was confident that there would be no problems. Just as I removed the backing on the sticky surface of the protector my son came in the front door. I actually saw the dust particles fly through the air and adhere to the protector. It was only four small spots but I couldn't remove them so with the exception of a poor choice of installation locations I am very satisfied with this product.
