More About the Author

Rachel publishes her short stories and plays here on Amazon and sometimes on other sites as well. In addition to her work here, Rachel keeps a regular blog, which you can read either on this page, or subscribe to at

Rachel grew up in Buffalo, lived in London and Edinburgh, and then moved to New York City. She spent six years there before moving to the countryside, which she very much enjoys.

I saw "Post" on stage in 1999, and it was the first time I'd seen the playwright's work produced. I'm happy that it's now available to a wider audience. That its topic and themes remain current today says something sad about our society, but is a credit to the insightfulness of the work.
