Super good stuff,

This review is from: BF POWDER BLAST AEROSOL 12OZ 12/CTN
My brother and I use this stuff every time we clean our various handguns. We've never had any of the sorts of problems described by other reviewers. That said, it IS a solvent so a little common sense applies. You should obviously use caution around any material that might not be solvent friendly, such as plastic, wood, or painted surfaces.
I don't use powder blast for the barrel but instead for the other surfaces that have oil, grease, and burnt powder caked on. Start with a little Hoppes 9, let that soak a bit, and then go after the heavy gunk with a brush. Then use powder blast like a power washer to hose off the majority of the debris. The powder blast evaporates extremely quickly, after which some Q-tips can get the cracks and other little spaces. Again, use a little common sense with any chemical, especially solvent. But when used properly, powder blast will save a lot of time & energy and keep your guns in clean, tip-top shape.

Total Crap,

This review is from: BF POWDER BLAST AEROSOL 12OZ 12/CTN
Putting this stuff through my gun was the worst mistake I've ever made as a gun owner. It started removing the paint off of my NEW rifle making it look like it has thousands of rounds of wear, and now my bolt action slides with a grinding noise instead of sliding smoothly. On my pistol that actually does have thousands of rounds of wear it managed to make it look like it had twice as much wear. I ran out of Hoppes 9 and this was the only stuff available to clean my guns. I hate it and am actually pretty pissed off about using it. This stuff is as it says on the can, a "Powerful Solvent". Guns don't need this, guns need a solvent designed for guns. This stuff is way too powerful to use on something that you care about. Please learn from my mistake, and don't use this crap unless you're actually trying to destroy your gun.

CAUTION,
This review is from: 16oz Powder Blast Gun Cleaner Aerosol (Misc.)
READ THE FINE PRINT !! ... may be harmful to plastic, painted surfaces and wood finishes including firearm grips and stocks.
This will dissolve a plastic grip or ruin your wood finish.
